The Hindustan Times has quoted a senior BJP leader saying, “He could easily have taken a chopper till Purulia, which is adjacent to Bokaro but because of the Trinamool government’s decision to deny landing permission to him on Sunday, it has been decided that he would travel to West Bengal by road. Let’s see how what the terrified ‘didi’ does now.”
Asked, if Mamata government still tried to stop Yogi from entering Bengal, a senior BJP leader said, “Let her do whatever she wants. We aren’t complaining. By her acts, she is merely helping our cause of making BJP more popular in Bengal.”
On Sunday, after being denied landing permission in Bengal, CM Yogi Adityanath addressed the “Gantantra Bachao” (Save Democracy) rally in South Dinjapur telephonically. In his address CM Yogi lambasted Mamata government, he said, “This TMC government is anti-people and anti-democratic and has compromised with national security. This government is afraid of BJP as it very well knows its days in the state are numbered.” Yogi Adityanath advised West Bengal CM, “Mamata ji must accept that one should not misuse the administration in a democracy.” He further added, “The manner in which the administration in West Bengal is functioning should not be acceptable at all.”
