Vande Bharat Express, the engine-less, indigenous project of the Indian Railways, has again been thrown stones at by some miscreants while the train was out for its third commercial run. The transgressor attacked and damaged the window panel of Train-18 while it was crossing Tundla junction in Uttar Pradesh, reported PTI.
Speaking of the blitz on Train-18, the railways official said that this is the third such incident in the last two months. Not to forget that the first incident took place in December last year during the train’s trail run between Delhi and Agra with the second one occuring earlier this month. Earlier, it was reported that Train-18 had faced a few problem on its first commercial run and since then it has been a soft target for the liberal cabal. In the wake of Lok Sabha election, the liberal establishment is all set to do a hit jobs against the NDA government. In order to take forward their anti-Modi narrative these agents masqueraded as journalists and intellectuals had crossed all the limits and are now peddling propaganda against PM Modi’s dream project, the Vande Bharat Express.

Being unaware of the ‘Make in India’ initiative (Which seems to be a habit of Gandhi scion) of Modi Government, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted the flagship initiative time and again. Taking a potshot against PM Modi’s initiative, Rahul Gandhi said, “Modi Ji, I think Make in India needs a serious rethink. Most people feel it has failed. I assure you we in the Congress are thinking very deeply about how it will be done”.

Following the slogan of ‘cycle ko hath pasand hai’ (jointly issued by SP-Congress alliance in the assembly election of UP in2017), Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav too joined Rahul Gandhi and said, “After the inauguration, fumes were seen in Vande Bharat train, power failure inside coaches, snag developed in brakes after which train came to a halt. Vande Bharat is a story of development. Farmers are angry, youths are unemployed, security system has collapsed and country’s economy shattered”.
However, this blatant criticism of Vande Bharat Express doesn’t reflect ground realities. Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal criticized those elements who took a dig at the ‘future of railways’ in India. Further lashing out against these ‘haters of progressive India’, PM Modi, at a rally in Varanasi, stated, “Some people targeted and mocked the semi-high speed train. This is unfortunate. This is an insult to engineers and technicians involved in the project. People should remain alert against such people who are insulting engineers and technicians and mocking the country”.

One needs to understand that Vande Bharat is an indigenous and one of a kind project. The whole world is looking up to it, as Train-18 project is one of the most affordable semi-high speed trains. It is a great achievement for the engineers of India and this will open a new door of manufacturing in the nation. It is a symbol of New India, a New India that nobody could bring about for 60 years, but which is, slowly emerging now. No wonder the liberal establishment cannot stand it.
