The Pulwama attack has shocked the entire nation. After a Jaish-e-Muhammad recruit broke through the CRPF convoy and rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into one of the trucks, killing more than 40 CRPF personnel and injuring several others, the country is up in arms against the perpetrators of this barbaric crime.
While the Central Government has promised stern action against the Islamist terrorists behind this, the masses are pulling out all stops to ensure that the aggrieved families of the martyrs are given every kind of assistance possible.
However, in this time of mourning, there are some opportunists who wouldn’t hesitate from celebrating this cowardly attack, no matter what the consequences be. Recently in the Hakakan village of Musik taluk, which is situated in the Raichur district of Karnataka, some people burst firecrackers after hearing about the Pulwama attack. The moment they were spotted by the villagers, they fled from the scene. However, they were soon nabbed by the local police.
At least 4 people have been arrested, their names being Khwaja, Rahman, Hussain, and Latif. Fireworks with green paintings have also been recovered from the site, as per the local reports. However, there’s more to this than what meets the eye.
This incident is not the first to happen after Pulwama attack, and this also is not the only incident. In a rather macabre fashion, many individuals, specially hardened Islamist radicals, are finding a sadistic pleasure in celebrating the Pulwama attack and mocking both the martyrs, as well as the armed forces. Moments after the atrocious attack, scores of hardened Islamists, especially those hailing from the Kashmir Valley unequivocally supported the attack and hailed it as some sort of retribution. Some Islamist radicals even threatened others of more barbaric attacks, as reported in Tundla, Uttar Pradesh.
If that wasn’t enough, left liberals like Rana Ayyub, Sagarika Ghose started demonizing the masses for talking about revenge but do not seem to have uttered a word for those celebrating the Pulwama attack. People like Sanjukta Basu even had the gall of labeling the attacks as a ‘conspiracy hatched by BJP for 2019 elections’. To make matters worse, news agencies like India Today and Scroll even pulled out all stops to whitewash the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmed Dar, just the way their notorious colleagues from NDTV did for Burhan Wani in 2016.
However, this time, they’re in for real trouble. Following the Central Government’s bold declaration of the armed forces being given complete freedom, scores of netizens have successfully reported about such hatemongers and have succeeded in getting them either prosecuted by law or rusticated by their respective employers/universities, where these separatists worked initially. The game has begun, and it is now going to cost the Islamist radicals and their left-liberal sympathizers dear.
