In the wake of the Pulwama terror attack, when the entire nation mourned over the martyrdom of the CRPF jawans, some anti-national elements celebrated the terror attack on their social media accounts. Indian security agencies have launched a major crackdown against social media sympathizers of the Jaish-e-Mohammed.
According to a My Nation report, a senior intelligence official said that more than 5,000 active social media accounts are linked to the banned militant outfits, which are continuously posting and sharing pictures and video of the Pulwama attack and portraying Adil Ahmad Dar as a hero. Most of the active sympathizers are in the Valley while some are manipulating the facts and running Islamic propaganda from Pakistan.
Soon after the Pulwama attack the message of ‘Kashmir Azadi’ started to circulate across the internet. The situation in Kashmir is worrying as they have made several chat rooms, pages and WhatsApp groups from where they are slowly poisoning the youth by manipulating the facts. It is alarming to see that the idea of a “Jannat” after death is so appealing that these educated citizens are performing treasonous acts against the nation.
Several sympathizers have been identified including Nidhi Sethi, an NDTV news editor. She mocked the Prime Minister along with the martyred jawans on her Twitter and Facebook page. NDTV took strict action against her wherein her stunt was condemned and she was suspended for 2 weeks. Further action against her is being contemplated by NDTV’s disciplinary committee. Her atonement shouldn’t stop at suspension but she should be penalized under Sections 66A and 66F of the IT act, 2000; along with sections 153A and 124A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
In addition to this, we have several other sympathizers propagating terrorist activities which include a student from AMU, Basim Hilal, Aabid Malik, an educated citizen working in Bangalore and Iqbal Akhoon, who is working at a healthcare organization. Their organizations have taken pro-active action wherein these traitors have been suspended from their universities and workplaces. Over and above this, owing to the alacrity of some loyal citizens and state police, a number of traitors such as Mazhar Hasmi, Mohd Osama, Papri Z Banerjee and Debjit Bhattacharjee have been successfully identified and are legal action is being taken.
Several others who are partaking in terrorist worship and Pulwama attack praise are currently being identified. India is in no mood to spare these traitors and a campaign has been launched which is aiming to identify and punishing these people. These treacherous people have lost their jobs as a result of the pro-active action and are facing legal action.

All these traitors are citizens of the country, either pursuing university courses or working in skilled white collar jobs. It is a sad day for India when educated youth are sympathizing with and encouraging the terrorists along with celebrating the Pulwama attack instead of condemning these atrocities.
