56 Inch setting new country precedence, avenging the soldiers yet again

PM Modi, Pakistan, Terror Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his first interaction with public, after IAF strikes in Pakistan’s Balakot, said that country is in safe hands. At a public rally in Churu, Rajasthan, he said, “Today is a day to pay homage to India’s bravehearts. I want to assure you that the country is in safe hands.” PM Modi also said that he will not let the country down.

In the recent times, PM Modi has emerged as the strongest Prime Minister the nation has witnessed. He answered strongly to Pakistan’s adventurism against India, not once but twice. On 29 September, 2016, eleven days after the Uri attack, where 19 Jawans were martyred by Pakistani terrorists, the Indian army conducted surgical strikes against terrorist launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, Indian Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), said that it had received “very credible and specific information” about “terrorist teams” who were preparing to “carry out infiltration and conduct terrorist strikes inside Jammu and Kashmir and in various metros in other states”. Indian media reported the casualty figures variously from 35 to 50. After the surgical strikes, Pakistan went into denial mode, and on the other hand PM received torrent of appreciation for giving a fierce reply to Pakistan sponsored terrorism against India.

After the Uri terror attack, PM Modi had warned Pakistan that sacrifice of 18 Indian soldiers will not go in vain. He had said, “Terrorists should hear out clearly that India will never forget the Uri attack…. I want to tell the leadership of Pakistan that the sacrifice of our 18 jawans will not go in vain.” Following this, elite Indian Para commandos moved inside the Line of Control and destroyed the terror camps operated by Pakistan. PM Modi fulfilled his promise, and avenged Uri terror attack with an unprecedented surgical strike.

Now, the 56 inch chest has surpassed his own standard. In the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack, which killed 40 CRPF personnel, the Indian Air Force on Tuesday launched a massive strike on terror camps located in Pakistan. The Indian Air Force reportedly dropped around 1000 kg bombs on the Jaish-e-Mohammed camps in the wee hours today. The air strike was carried out in three locations, one of them being across the Line of Control in Balakot, Pakistan.

After the terror attack in Pulwama, PM Modi had vowed to take revenge on the terror nation and claimed that India would respond and give a befitting reply to Pakistan. PM Modi said, “I want to tell terror groups and their supporters that they have made a big mistake. I want to assure the nation that those behind this attack will pay a big price.”

According to CNN News 18, the decision to strike back in Pakistan was taken by PM Modi himself. The decision of the air strike by PM Modi was taken after the terror attack in Pulwama on 14 February.

Earlier this year, Prime Minister Modi hit out at Congress saying that the UPA government did little after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

“Terrorists attacked Mumbai, what happened after it? In our government, Uri happened, what happened after it? This is the change. The fire that was in the hearts of our jawans, it was in the heart of the PM too, Surgical Strike was the result,” PM Modi said while addressing India Youth Conclave programme. “The previous government slept through 26/11, but Uri did not let us sleep. Drop of every jawan’s blood is holy for us,” he added.

Earlier, in 2015 also, Dimapur based 21 Para Special Forces crossed the Indo Myanmar border in 2015, and successfully shot down all the terrorists of the terror unit NSCN K, who had brutally murdered 18 Indian soldiers in an ambush in June 2015.

The message is loud and clear: Don’t test INDIA’s patience, especially that of the INDIAN ARMY! Now the brave men have a brave man in the decision making position, and till the time he is here, we as a nation can afford to feel safe. The decision-making ability of the current Modi government has been a major highlight in the NDA government policies over the course of its 5-year term. And this is exactly what can be ascertained from this air strike in the heart of Pakistan.
