Manish Sisodia spreads fake news about Adani group, gets exposed

Adani, Manish Sisodia

In the wake of the tragedy that happened in Pulwama on February 14, the nation fumes in anger against Pakistan. Leaving a few notable exceptions, all the political parties have condemned the dastardly terror attacks. However, while expressing his ‘grief’ on the issue, Delhi Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia, ended up making a vague comment on Adani Group which only left him humiliated.

In reaction to government’s decision of raising the customs duty to 200% on goods coming from Pakistan, Manish Sisodia tweeted, “It’s good to make import from Pakistan almost impossible…. But why not export also, or better stop all import and export. And why not ask Adani’s to stop supplying electricity to Pakistan… The same electricity can be diverted to our own towns and villages, who need it most”.

However, before alleging Adani Group of supplying electricity to Pakistan, the Delhi Education Minister didn’t bother to check the facts. The Adani Group soon exposed Sisodia’s lies with the clarification that it is not involved in supplying electricity to Pakistan. In reply to Sisodia’s allegations, Adani Group wrote, “The Adani Group would like to inform you that we do not supply electricity to Pakistan. You must withdraw such incorrect and irresponsible statements”.

It seems that peddling lies is the only thing that the AAP leader is good at. Interestingly, when caught red-faced, Sisodia opted to delete his tweet.

Earlier, according to a sting operation carried out by the Republic TV, it came to light that AAP received funding from a banned Khalistani group. The sting operation is definitive proof of AAP’s collusion with anti-India forces. The Khalistani movement is supported and backed by Pakistan and ISI. AAP leaders, time and again, have shown soft corners for the Khalistanis. Last year in June, AAP Member of Parliament from Patiala, Dharamvir Gandhi came out in support of the Khalistan referendum.

Prior to this, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal questioned the credibility of surgical strikes and demanded proof of it. It appears as if AAP leaders are expert at mudslinging and making comments without being fully aware of issues. The recent attack on the Adani group is just another example of AAP’s illogical rants.
