The fact that PM Modi chose ANI and not anyone from the Lutyen’s media for the interview does not seem to have gone down well with the Cabal. Yesterday, on the eve of New Year, PM Narendra Modi gave an interview to the Asian News International (ANI) Editor, Smita Prakash, setting up the agenda for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. But, it seems that the Lutyens’ media is finding it tough to digest the fact that PM Modi preferred ANI over any of them.
Since the interview aired; Twitter seems to be bombarded with derogatory remarks of the ‘liberal cabal’ on both Prime Minister and Smita Prakash. In addition to the usual snide remarks on how ‘scripted’ the interview was (despite evidence to the contrary), Smita Prakash, the Editor of ANI became an instant object of derision among the self-proclaimed liberals.
While these comments were snide, Sanjukta Basu, a correspondent at’ The Wire’, crossed all limits of civilized behaviour with her tweet terming Smita Prakash a ‘prostitute’. She accused Mrs. Prakash of selling her journalistic ethics and standards. In her utter arrogance, she even compared the respected editor with “sex worker”. Such a derogatory comment on a woman, that too coming from someone who claims to be “liberal” is nothing but a thing to feel shame about.

Another such comment one came from Kavita Krishnan, CPI (ML) member and flag bearer of the liberal cabal. She retweeted a tweet by Subir Sinha, accusing Smita Prakash of not asking tough questions. Also, the tweet accused the PM of giving insane answers and blaming others for abject failure in office. He went further and accused BJP supporters of spreading fake news.

Again, Sagarika Ghose, consulting editor of Times of India (TOI), and another big gun of the liberal brigade, accused PM Modi of talking about himself only in the whole interview. These so-called liberals are nothing but propaganda peddlers in the service of opposition.

This baffling but yet predictable reaction shows the desperation and the vicious hatred against the Modi government coming from the cabal. Their hatred for the PM even transcends the perceived or much proclaimed fraternal obligations to their media colleagues Smita Prakash as well.
Semi-educated media leaves no stone unturned whenever they grab a chance but never look at their own deeds. If this interview has done one thing after getting aired, it for sure has exposed the royal hypocrites that the left liberals are. Earlier Rajdeep Sardesai interviewed the UPA president Sonia Gandhi where he almost ‘grilled’ Sonia Gandhi with ‘burning questions’ like saas-bahu, kitchen, dinner, cooking. Such a hypocrite these flag bearer of free speech are.

This comes as no surprise; since the ‘Dharna brigade’ had also backed the separatist and anti-national elements, but acts as ‘multiple layered filter paper’ whenever anyone from the BJP or sister organisations happens to give an interview. We only wonder as to how long their web of lies will be tolerated by the masses, and how long will this kind of propaganda peddlers get away with such absurd justifications.
