The Congress Party IT cell head and notorious social media troll Divya Spandana is very active on Social Media. Mainly, she occupies the news headlines for her crass, offensive and insensible social media activities. However, from the past few days, Divya Spandana is inactive on twitter. Her last tweet was on 29th September. Curiously enough, the bio on her twitter profile has also been cleared which has led to the speculations that she might have been sacked by the Congress party and she is no longer the Congress Party IT cell head.
If she has been sacked, the reasons for this are not mystery. Divya Spandana had become a liability for the Congress. Just few days ago she made a derogatory comment against PM Narendra Modi. Spandana tweeted a morphed and offensive image of PM Modi over Rafale deal controversy. She received huge flak on social for insulting the PM of the nation.

A case was also filed against Divya Spandana over her objectionable tweet.
In the past also, she has made many controversial remarks against PM Modi. Before Karnataka elections, she called controversial remark on PM Modi by asking if the PM was on POT.
The BJP vehemently criticized her remarks.

She also encouraged her party workers to create more and more fake accounts on social media. Issuing such irresponsible direction is a bizarre and unethical.

Just few days ago she was promoting a soft-porn website. She shared an article of a website called India Scoops which used to operate as ‘Arshi Khan fan page’ and usually publishes soft porn material. She shared the article of this website to prove that Rafael is a scam.

Presence of social media trolls like Divya Spandana in the Congress party is a testimony of the fact that the party has lost its dignity and it looks like the party has finally realized their mistake and sacked her in order to save face. Her inactivity on twitter coupled with the removal of her bio points towards the fact that Congress has finally fired its controversial and ineffective IT cell chief. If one goes through her twitter activity, it is full of crass, vulgar and demeaning tweet against PM Modi, BJP and its supporters.
Divya Spandana has been an abject failure as an IT cell head of the Congress. Her activities did more damage to the Congress party and provided many opportunities to the BJP to launch blistering attack against the Congress. Divya Spandana failed in her capacity as damage-control manager and presenting Rahul Gandhi in a positive light, no matter how hard the task is.

Although an official confirmation (or denial) is still awaited, the activity (or lack thereof) of Divya Spandana certainly have raised question on her employment with the Congress party.
