In a historic development in Ayodhya case, the Supreme Court’s majority refused to refer Ayodhya-Ram Janmabhoomi land dispute case to larger bench. It also fast-tracked the Ayodhya case and said that the hearing will commence from 29 October onwards. It means that all the attempts made by the cabal to delay the hearing of Ayodhya case till after 2019 elections has suffered an abject failure. Reacting to the judgment BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said, “I would like the temple to be constructed before Diwali.”

However, there is no reaction whatsoever from the opposition side. They have maintained stoic silence. Newly devout Hindu, Shiv Bhakt and Janeudhari Hindu- Rahul Gandhi- did not even bother to author even a single tweet on such a big judgment. Being such a devout Hindu, he should have been the first to pray for the quick construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
This is a landmark Supreme Court judgment in many respects. Ayodhya is an integral part of Hindu identity and construction of the long-awaited Ram Mandir bolster the Hindu unity. People whose parents dedicated their entire lives to the Ram Janambhoomi movement expressed their happiness on various social media platforms. Today’s Supreme Court verdict is a crucial step towards reviving the glory of Bharat and reclaiming its glorious past. As David Frawley has observed, “If a new Ram Mandir is built in Ayodhya it will become the most important pilgrimage site in India and for Asia and the world wherever the Ramayana is honored.”

The judgment will not only play pivotal role in reviving the Hindu glory but it would also help the BJP to come again in power in 2019.
Today’s verdict has paved the way for the construction of Ram Mandir which would have crucial bearings on the 2019 elections. As the Court has fast-tracked the case, the construction of the temple is likely to begin by the end of this year. The construction of Ram Mandir started by the BJP would not only demolish the narrative of ‘icchadhari Hindus’ fast emerging among the erstwhile patrons of Muslim appeasement but would also mean that the lies about Rafale and other make-believe issues Congress and the opposition are trying to push to get a fighting chance in 2019, would become absolutely irrelevant.
A grand temple dedicated to Shri Ram in Ayodhya is what drove the BJP to power for the first time in any state in 1991. The BJP’s rise in National politics started from the Ram Mandir movement. This issue is one of the reasons behind the BJP’s increase in tally from 2 seats in 1988 to being the single largest party of India. If the BJP manages to begin the construction before the 2019 general elections then it would be no exaggeration to say that BJP would be declared as the winner of 2019 Lok Sabha elections even before the voting is commenced. The BJP, in the run-up to 2014 General Elections, promised the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and included it even in its election manifesto, and now it is one step closer to deliver its promise. Time and again BJP leaders have reiterated their commitment for the cause of construction of Ram Mandir which has been a long awaited dream of crores of Hindus across the world. In June, CM Yogi had said, “No one should have any doubt about the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Ram Mandir will definitely be constructed here.” Union Minister Uma Bharti even suggested for the constitutional amendment that would ease the way for beginning the construction. Subramanian Swamy has been fighting for the cause of Ram Mandir. Finally the efforts of BJP leaders and other Hindu organizations are being paid off. Very soon Ayodhya will have a glorious Ram Temple. The Ram Mandir is not just a temple. It is a symbol of faith and struggle. A struggle to fight back, restore and preserve the faith. A Ram Mandir would also put Ayodhya on a fast track of growth and development. It would completely change the face of Ayodhya forever and Ayodhya would get back its rightful place in the conscience of Indians worldwide.
