Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is known to play fast and loose with facts. Well, there is nothing new in this; everyone knows that he gets creative with the truth. This time, the larger-than-life Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal wasted crores of taxpayers’ money to publish a full-page false advertisement.
On Monday, the Kejriwal government launched Home Delivery of Public Services. The project claims to deliver 40 public services at the doorstep in the first phase. Kejriwal government as well as the advertisement taken out by Kejriwal, claims that ‘this is home delivery of governance’, which is being done for the first time in the country.” Now, this is a blatant lie. Manipur was the first state to take such an initiative and has been doing it successfully. Moreover, look at how quietly Manipur is doing it, without cursing Lieutenant Governor or the Centre, without any expensive full page ads at the taxpayers’ expense.
.@ArvindKejriwal sir, you wasted crores of tax payer money on this blatantly false advertisement. Home delivery of Govt Services has already been launched in Manipur on 7th Sep by CM @NBirenSingh ji. Pls ask ur team to do research before issuing such advt meant for ur bloated ego pic.twitter.com/duekLgQmFs

On 1st May 2018, CM of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, launched ‘Go To Village’ mission with an objective to reach out to its citizens at their doorsteps. Under the scheme, government programmes and schemes are explained to people and its benefits are also provided to the people. Special attention is being given to ensure timely delivery of services to eligible beneficiaries, address their problems and queries in a smooth and citizen-friendly manner. On the spot solutions are also provided on the same day, without any delay, wherever possible. Special focus is given to schemes and identification of left out eligible beneficiaries for inclusion of housing, old age pension etc. According to ‘Go To Village’ website, till now 1,520 villages have been covered, total 284,227 beneficiaries have been enrolled, 199,713 benefits/services have been delivered, and 75,127 benefits/services are under process. So, the Manipur government is the first one to launch Home Delivery of Services and not the Delhi government, and also it is way ahead of Kejriwal government when it comes to delivering those services. CM of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, is doing all this without any publicity. Arvind Kejriwal should learn some sincerity, sanity and honesty from CM of Manipur.
Home delivery of services was launched on 1st May’18 itself by @NBirenSingh ji. Later the govt took more professional way and hired agency to do it in a structured way. The tender process took months. So clearly your idea wasn’t “first time in the world” level. @ArvindKejriwal pic.twitter.com/NBJSURzgny

Even the mainstream media did not bother to crosscheck the false claims made by Arvind Kejriwal government about the home delivery of public services. For mainstream media, fake news and fake claims spread by the Kejriwal and his IT team is a revolutionary thing. On the other hand, Lutyens’ media even questions the genuine claims made by the Modi government. They carry out hit jobs against the central government and its honest and hardworking ministers. When it comes to Modi government, they are really good at making a mountain out of a molehill. But, when it comes to their blue-eyed boy Arvind Kejriwal, they completely turn a blind eye to all his wrongdoings. Such an attitude of media gives more encouragement to Kejriwal to come up with more and more advertisement with fake claims. One possible reason for such an attitude of media could be because they are also making money from advertisement rolled out by Kejriwal government.
