The BJP President, Amit Shah, addressing Poorvanchal Mahakumbh rally at Ramlila Maidan took exception to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s repeated blame-games on the centre and his habit of backtracking on his promises. Amit Shah charged Arvind Kejriwal of stalling development of Delhi during his three-and-a-half-year rule. He said, “The Narendra Modi government gave over Rs 50,000 crore to the Delhi government. But look at the promises that you made to people and tell that how many promises have been fulfilled.” Shah had also said, “Kejriwal’s only mantra is to tell lies, and talk forcefully and repeatedly.” For a very long time, Arvind Kejriwal has been desperately trying to elicit a response from BJP’s top leadership and it seems like Amit Shah has finally fulfilled his long-standing wish.

The BJP President slammed Delhi Chief Minister and said that Delhi government lacks vision for development. He also questioned AAP and Congress on the illegal immigration issue. Amit Shah said, “Why Rahul Gandhi, AAP have issues on illegal immigrants? Because they do vote bank politics. But we don’t do that, as for BJP the nation comes first.” He asked both Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal to clear their stand on the issue of illegal immigration.
Each and every word said by Amit Shah about Arvind Kejriwal is true at all the levels. Arvind Kejriwal also believes in playing cheap politics rather than working towards development. A recent example of this can be seen in Arvind Kejriwal’s comment on Ayushman Bharat scheme. He called Ayushman Bharat- The National Health Protection Mission -another PR exercise. Kejriwal has refused to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi.

It shows how much Arvind Kejriwal cares about people of Delhi. Every year hundreds of deaths from Dengue are reported in Delhi but the ego of Delhi CM does not allow him to accept the scheme for the betterment of the people of Delhi. Another demand made by the Delhi government is to rename the scheme as ‘Mukhya Mantri Aam Aadmi Swasthya Bima Yojana-Ayushman Bharat’ to bring Delhi on board. Delhi government wants to politicize a scheme brought in by the central government for its own political gains. The politics of Arvind Kejriwal has definitely touched a new low.
If we simply focus on Kejriwal’s governance, he has not delivered on any of his promises either. Forget free electricity, the current AAP government has not even ensured that proper electricity reaches every home. Worse, when the city reels under smog and diseases like dengue, malaria etc., and the AAP government either does nothing, or has one simple solution: Pass the blame on PM Modi.
When it comes to illegal immigration, In Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar, Kejriwal government provided ACs for Rohingyas but disconnected sole power supply to Pakistani Hindu refugees in the Delhi. All this is being done to appease Muslims. Kejriwal had come to power on the premise of being “different” from others, promising to bring about a positive change in Indian politics. However, the way in which he has operated so far he has proved that he is worse than his ilk.

Not just Amit Shah, recently wrestler Divya Kakran, the bronze medal winner in recently concluded Asian Games in Indonesia, had lambasted Arvind Kejriwal and his government for showing careless attitude towards athletes. Divya Kakran, during the felicitation ceremony, told Kejriwal that she could have won gold medal if the government had extended proper support to her.

Common people of Delhi are fed up of Arvind Kejriwal. They voted for Arvind Kejriwal in the hope that he will bring some positive changes but the change that he is bringing, if at all he is, is only negative, obnoxious and self serving in nature.
