If spreading fake news is an art then Rahul Gandhi is the Picasso of it. Rahul Gandhi is a well-known figure in the world of fake news. Many at times he has been caught spreading fake news and his blatant lies to malign the Modi government has been exposed several times. But then he has again come up with another made up and fabricated news. What comes to our surprise is that his propaganda is being supported by the leading media houses as well. As quoted by Oswald Mosley, “Newspapers are not made any longer by news or journalism. They are made by sheer weight of money expressed in free gift schemes. They serve not the interests of the many, but the vested interests of the few”.
The Congress party President Rahul Gandhi and his accomplice has touched new low by making up stories regarding the Indian armed forces. He came up with a made up story which also appeared in the Economic Times, a blatant lie claiming that the soldiers will now have to buy their uniforms with their own money. Rahul Gandhi tweeted-
MAKE (empty slogans and useless acronyms) IN INDIA….meanwhile, make our soldiers buy their own clothes & shoes. https://t.co/UaWqsIhnQx

Rahul Gandhi is now using soldiers as fodder for his 2019 election campaign. Everyone knows his sudden love for soldiers is as fake as this news. Before coming to any conclusion one should not forget that Rahul Gandhi is the President of that particular party whose leader made an insensitive remarks against the Army. One of their party leaders called Army Chief Bipin Rawat ‘sadak ka gunda’. Also one cannot forget how their leaders occupied Adarsh Society flats meant for the martyred soldiers of Kargil war.
However, he was not alone in spreading this fake news. Other Congress machinery also supported him. This sort of fake news not only undermines the army but can spread panic among the forces. What on earth is Rahul Gandhi and his cabal trying to do? It looks like they are trying to bring down the morale of the army and is also trying to create a misunderstanding between the Army and the government.
Modi Govt is spending thousands of crores for self promotion & advertisements, unfruitful foreign visits of PM but they can't issue funds for the armed forces.

Jawans lay down their lives, opposition alleges ‘budget cut’, govt denies ‘shortage of funds’, Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi slam ‘Nationalist NDA’, ‘Soldiers made to buy own uniform?’ #VardiForVotes pic.twitter.com/QaGvpCiH1a

Many famous journalists and media houses were also involved in spreading this lie, directly or indirectly. Fake news portals like Wire also pursued this story, and the story was shared by the entire cabal. Thomas Sowell has rightly said, “The media are less a window on reality, than a stage on which officials and journalists perform self-scripted, self-serving fictions”. Claims of Rahul Gandhi and his cabal are far from the truth. The truth is that as per 7th pay commission dress allowances to soldiers are up to Rs 20,000.

Defence veterans also refuted this fake news.
It's just an alarming headline.
A cut-down of useless & mundane activities of the ordnance factories, such as making clothes, has been projected as "Army personnel to buy own uniforms" etc.
These unproductive activities eat up resources & clog the system.https://t.co/VZn82mLhQJ— Navdeep Singh (@SinghNavdeep) June 5, 2018
Dear Ma'am as spokesperson of National party you need to check facts before embarrassing yourself. Not procuring from Ord Factories doesn't mean soldiers will buy own uniforms. They'll be procured by Army through open tender at competitive priceshttps://t.co/KTKowOKsn3

Earlier this month Rahul Gandhi was exposed by the Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman when he was spreading fake news regarding Defence corruption.
Ministry Of Defence, India (MODI) officials, accused of making millions of $'s in kickbacks via Dubai by Ukrainian Govt. in AN32 deal.
Modi ji, as our self proclaimed chokidar, I urge you to take immediate action against your corrupt MODI officials.#BJPDefenceScam https://t.co/ZCKkgR8muc

Rahul Gandhi and his cabal should attain enough political maturity to not do politics with matters related to the security of the country. And as far as the media is concerned there should be stringent punishment for those media houses and newspapers who are indulged in spreading fake news.
