Jignesh Mevani is again in the news for all the bad reasons. It seems, he has not learned anything after the Shefali Vaidya episode. After sharing derogatory photoshopped image of private citizen Shefali Vaidya and traumatizing her, this time Jignesh Mevani stooped to another low and went on to the extent of insulting PM Modi. He tweeted a picture in which he is fiercely pointing his finger at an actor dressed as PM Modi and posted a message ridiculing the plot to assassinate PM Modi by calling it a drama.

By undermining the seriousness of the plot to assassinate PM Modi he is trying to create an alibi for the murderers just like Shehla Rashid. It’s quite possible as well because of the recent arrest of top five Urban Naxal operatives by Maharashtra Police who allegedly instigated Bhima-Koregaon violence and their alleged link to Jignesh Mevani as revealed by a letter obtained by Times Now. The letter clearly mentions that the Congress party is going to fund the planned Dalit movement throughout India using Jignesh Mevani as an intermediary. The letter also hints towards the necessity of organizing nationwide rallies and protests in the country in the coming days. This could be a solid explanation for the Dalit protests which caused widespread violence and loss of property, especially in the BJP ruled states in April this year. The Maoist forces misused the Dalit sentiments to cause disruption and unrest in society. They received funds for organizing these anti-India and anti-government protests by the Congress through MLA Jignesh Mevani, if the letter is to be believed.
One can expect such theatrics from Jignesh Mevani. Earlier also he has showed his rabble-rouser attitude. In Karnataka, he had instigated a crowd of youth to throw the chairs in the air and disturb the meeting of PM Modi. He also said that PM Modi should retire and go to Himalayas. Jignesh Mevani is known for giving hate speeches and for instigating disharmony through his words. Jignesh had earlier accepted to taking money from Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) which is the political front of Popular Front of India (PFI) to fund his election campaign. PFI is a notorious organization and many of its members are fighting on the side of the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria. There have been many demands of a ban on the PFI raised by BJP in the central government as well as by the Kerala government where PFI is most active. Jignesh’s involvement with the PFI leaders and the support shown to him exposes the kind of politics expected of him.
Jignesh Mevani who won from the Vadgam constituency by exploiting Dalit sentiments and emotions was once portrayed by the Lutyens’ media as the man who can challenge Modi, who can finish the Modi wave by finishing the BJP in PM Modi’s home state- Gujrat. But the BJP, despite anti-Incumbency, managed to win the Gujarat elections with ease. Today, Jignesh Mevani is just a troll on Twitter. He does foolish stuff to get media attention. He does not even have basic decorum which an elected representative should have. This shows what kind of leaders leftist ecosystem nurtures and promotes. They promote such unemployed, semi-educated, rabble-rousers who only know how to create anarchy in the society.
