The Bharatiya Janata Party has been proactive in working towards a better India for the past four years. Ever since BJP has come into power, there has been a drastic increase in the pace of development. While the respective ministries share the credit with PM Modi for the achievements of their cabinets, there is one ministry that stands out as it has been doing some exceptional work. Rajnath Singh has put in a lot of hard work in the Home Ministry to make it easier for the other ministries to carry out their work in a safe environment. Home Ministry led by senior BJP MP Rajnath Singh recently released a report about the achievements in the past 4 years of PM Modi rule. The report reveals the efficiency of Rajnath Singh and other officials who have worked really hard to wipe out left wing extremism in India. The success of the Home Ministry can be ascertained from the fact that there were no major terrorist attacks which took place in the past four years. A stable and safe environment has been created by the Home Ministry in India which has boosted the growth of infrastructure in the country.
The report elaborates on many important points as to how the Home Ministry has decided to improve the situation in Kashmir by using unconventional methods. Central forces in Jammu and Kashmir have raised 300 football teams in the state which involves over 4600 youth from the Valley. Recruitment of 3,882 Jammu and Kashmir youth in the Central Forces, 7,302 in the Indian Army and 7,698 as special police officers (SPOs) are small but necessary steps needed to keep people away from poverty which is one of the primary catalysts for them joining terror groups. Not just this but the report also mentions how there has been a drastic increase towards eliminating the threats to the country both in the valley and in the rest of India as well. According to the report, 619 terrorists were neutralised between 2014 and 2017, this is in addition to the 65 terrorists which were killed up till May this year.
The report also mentions the leaps and bounds made by security forces in eliminating Maoists, as 119 Left wing extremists and Maoists have been eliminated just in this year. 136 Maoists were killed in the whole of 2017 while 136 have been terminated in just five month period. The pre emptive crackdown on Islamic State (IS) supporters by arresting 113 sympathizers of the IS have also been mentioned in the report. IS was banned as a “terrorist” organization by Indian government under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The clampdown on IS sympathizers has been an act of nipping the evil in the bud, all thanks to BJP MP Rajnath Singh and his Home Ministry.

Overall there has been a great reduction in terror related civilian deaths from the previous term of the UPA government. Rajnath Singh and his policies will keep helping India in the days to come; he is more than likely to keep changing the things for the better. The Home Ministry report is conclusive evidence that Rajnath Singh’s policies are working. India is being made safe and secure from foreign terror as well as from the internal conflicts. The time when India does not have to worry about the safety of its civilians might come sooner if Rajnath Singh keeps holding on to this post in the coming years. Great work from the senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh, who has time and again proved to be indispensable in the PM Modi cabinet. His silent working style sometimes makes us forget that he has achieved more in his term as a Home Minister than the past many of them combined, and without much fanfare Rajnath Singh has succeeded in making India a safer place.
