In a massive development that has exposed how the unholy JD (S)-Congress alliance is pandering to anti-India interests for political gains, Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy met PFI and SDPI activists soon after taking oath. PFI is a radical Islamic outfit while SDPI is a political party intimately related to PFI. These two organisations have been accused of terror related activities by the NIA.
Pictures have emerged of a meeting between H.D. Kumaraswamy and members of both the radical groups after he took oath as Karnataka Chief Minister. Before this, PFI and SDPI were reportedly accused of lending support to JD(S) and Congress during the recent Karnataka elections. These outfits have been accused of being involved in political killings targeting BJP and RSS workers.
This indictment has been affirmed by the NIA which had explicitly accused the PFI and SDPI of terrorism in the murder of RSS member R Rudresh in a chargesheet filed before a special NIA court in Bangalore.
The reality of PFI and SDPI was exposed by the NIA in its chargesheet. It was made clear that there was a plan to target two RSS men in uniform in order to strike terror into the minds of the members of the organisation. The chargesheet further stated that indoctrination of the members was conducted in order to instigate them into killing RSS members as a part of Jihad. They were made to believe that they must eliminate kafirs and establish an Islamic Caliphate in India. It was also disclosed that the accused had attended indoctrination classes where videos of communal clashes such as the Dadri and Muzaffarnagar riots were used in order to raise communal passions against the RSS.
Last year, the NIA had sent a report to the Home Ministry recommending that PFI and its political arm, SDPI be banned on account of its terror activities in Kerala. In its detailed report, NIA disclosed that the founding members of the terror organisation formed the core of SIMI, a terrorist organisation that was banned in 2001. NIA listed four cases of terrorism involving the activists of these two organisations, including the chopping of a professor’s hand in Kerala’s Idukki district, the murder of an RSS leader in Bengaluru, the Islamic State Al-Hindi module case plotting attacks in south India and the case of an ongoing training camp in Kannur where bombs and improvised explosive devices (IED) have been discovered. PFI is active in 23 states and is believed to be training its volunteers in the use of crude bombs and carrying out indoctrination classes.
Even the Kerala government has reportedly admitted that the Islamic outfit is involved in terror activities. Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju had stated that the Kerala government had pressed for a ban on the PFI and that the centre was examining the case.
It is therefore, clear that the PFI and SDPI are terror outfits, and even though they have not been officially banned, their terrorist activities are out in the open. They are known to carry out indoctrination classes instigating terror activities, forced conversions and even love Jihad. Now, it has come to light that the Congress-JD (S) coalition is pandering to such outfits for political gains. Congress’ affection towards this terror organisation is not a new development. Earlier, former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah had refused to ban the terror organisation in Karnataka despite attacks on RSS members, showing that the PFI activists were enjoying Congress patronage. Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy had mentioned recently that he was at the “mercy” of the Congress and not the 6.5 crore people of Karnataka. He made it clear that since it was because of Congress that he had become the Chief Minister and not the people of Karnataka who had not given him the mandate, his allegiance would lie with the Congress. It is shameful that a Chief Minister openly stated that he won’t be acting in the interest of the state but his political masters. Now, by meeting the PFI and SDPI members, Kumaraswamy has made it clear that he will be doing what the Congress wants him to do. The Congress seems to be in a mood to reward the terror organisation, as Congress had allegedly enjoyed its support in the run up to Karnataka elections.
