The counting being done today in Karnataka, the result suggest that the BJP is all set to form government in Karnataka. Incumbent Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s failure in properly managing the state had laid the foundation for BJP’s win. What sealed the win for BJP is the active campaigning done by PM Modi and BJP CM Yogi Adityanath from Uttar Pradesh. While PM Modi’s pan-India acceptance has greatly helped BJP in winning elections throughout the country, CM Yogi Aditayanath’s efforts in Karnataka cannot be sidelined too. CM Yogi has played a big role in ensuring a simple majority for the BJP in Karnataka. His rallies in Karnataka have helped to form a strong bond with the Kannadiga population. CM Yogi Adityanath’s heartwarming approach to the massive crowds at his rallies left an impact which can be seen today in the number of seats won by BJP. He addressed around 24 rallies during election campaigns.
Siddaramaiah and Congress leadership tried everything possible in order to undermine CM Yogi’s role in Karnataka. The barbs of Siddaramaiah starting from “imports” to his antics at trying to stir up a North-South divide were laid to rest with a multitude of rallies by CM Yogi. CM Yogi deftly handled all the dirty issues raised by Siddaramaiah by pointing towards the age old bond of UP born Lord Rama and his companion the Karnataka born Lord Hanuman. Cm Yogi also pointed towards the close ties between the Bhagwan Gorakhnath and Bhagwan Manjunath tradition in UP and Karnataka respectively. CM Yogi’s speech focused more on bonding the voters from Karnataka, unlike Siddarmaiah’s approach of divide and rule. His fiery speeches against the Congress leaders also mentioned how the farmers in Karnataka had committed suicide in large numbers in the past five years. He also mentioned the loan waiver of 86 lakh farmers done in UP by the BJP regime, while Karnataka has failed to help the farmers in any way, this might have struck the right chord in the hearts of Karnataka’s crowd.
. @BJP4Karnataka by waiting for North Indian imports like PM Modi, UPCM Adityanath is admiting they have no leaders in the state. They have reduced their CM face @BSYBJP to a dummy.
PM may come & go. Here it is Siddaramaiah vs BSY & you know who is winning.#CongressMathomme https://t.co/IatRRstyAe

The most salient feature of CM Yogi Adityanath’s speeches could be that he delivered all of them in Hindi at the many rallies he attended. BJP’s win today will prove that the Kannadiga’s are proud of their culture and they are not against maintaining an inclusive national identity as well. His appeal to the people of Karnataka to vote for development and growth based politics of the BJP instead of the divisive politics of the Congress was approved by the people on the 12th of May. CM Yogi’s image as a pro-farmer and grass root leader, who understands the concerns of the downtrodden masses has greatly worked in favour of the BJP in Karnataka. Yogi Adityanath’s image as a champion of Hindu secularism and ideological warrior for Hindutva helped BJP reign to reign in the voters from the Lingayat sect as well.
The hard stance taken by CM Yogi in UP combined with the rapid developments in his home state have made him a popular face in the country. Karnataka BJP too had roped in CM Yogi in order to make good use of his no-nonsense approach towards progress which seems to have worked. Saffron flag is going to wave over Karnataka today and one of the prime reasons for it will be a saffron clad, CM Yogi from UP. India is going ahead on the road to Congress wipe-out and the whole of India bound by saffron is making sure it happens soon with PM Modi and CM Yogi showing the way.
