Give it up for Ajit Doval –The Silent Guardian, The Watchful Protector

Ever since the 29/9 retaliation of Uri attack by the INDIAN ARMY has completely vanquished the Pakistani euphoria of ‘bleeding INDIA with a thousand cuts’, there is confusion as to whom to give a standing ovation to.

While the Indian Army stands on the leaderboard for the same without any second thought, equal claims come for the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Defence Minister, Shri Manohar Parrikar too.

However, the one man that really deserves a major chunk of the ovations is our ‘Chanakya’ of espionage in India, Shri Ajit Doval.

Unlike other bureaucrats and officers, Ajit Doval, for whom patriotism runs in his blood, his only reaction is: DIRECT ACTION. Since he joined the NDA government as the National Security Adviser in 2014, the shift in the defence policy paradigms of INDIA is remarkable to say the least.

From growing above the stupid ‘talks are a solution to everything’ syndrome, thanks to Mr. Doval, we have now joined the ranks of the rare nations, who follow the offensive defence policy, i.e. Fire one, and we’ll Forget Our Count of Fire!

Technically, Ajit Doval needs no introduction. The only IPS recipient of Kirti Chakra, he was instrumental in reducing the menace of Kashmiri terrorism in the 1990s by introducing the concept of counter terrorism in INDIA.

The moment Ajit Doval struck hard in 2014 by assuring the release of 46 nurses captured by ISIS, one should have understood that the Indian defence sector was in for a drastic change. However, the fact was ultimately proved, just a bit later.

By 2016, Ajit Doval, despite the Pathankot setback, had been successful in changing the Indian philosophy of strategic restraint to a huge level.  Unprovoked firing from across the border or terrorist strikes carried out by Pakistan mustn’t go unpunished, he felt.

This became visible in early July, when after rigorous combings, the Indian forces managed to shoot the dreaded Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani hands down (some versions even say that he was begging for mercy, in contrast to his open threats on social media to the INDIAN ARMY!)

It is another matter altogether that the Indian scion of intellectual terrorists, led by Barkha Dutt, made a mockery of this daring feat altogether.

But the important question remains, how is Ajit Doval connected to the ‘Surgical Strikes post Uri Attack’?

As said by DGMO, Lt. General Ranbir Singh, the surgical strikes were a method to destroy the ‘terror launch pads’ set in PoK, which is a salient feature of the offensive defence policy, the brainchild of Ajit Doval. Simply put, ‘They fire one, you fire two or more’

If you don’t believe me, stretch your mind back to 2015, the previous year, when an ambush by militant group from Myanmar, the NSCN (K), resulted in 18 soldiers being massacred on the Indian side.

However, in less than a week, chartered by Ajit Doval, a special para forces team dropped into the Burmese region, after midnight, and in a tactical move, attacked the hideouts of the militant groups, killing around 50-65 militants, as per the official sources. The attack lasted for four hours, with active support from the Myanmar defence forces.

Now connect to this: – At 12:30 in the midnight, according to Lt. General Ranbir Singh’s official statement, the special para troopers from the ‘Ghatak’ battalion (which comprises extremely advanced and toughened bravehearts) encircled the targeted terror launch pads nurtured by the Pakistani forces, in Bhimber, Hot Spring, Kel and Lipa sectors along the Line of Control, situated in the PoK region (I.e. Pakistan oppressed Kashmir).

According to the sources, some 50-55 terrorists were killed and some 5-15 Pakistani army personnel were vanquished. I hope you are convinced now.

Ever since the Pathankot attacks, followed by Pampore in February, Punchh in August and Uri in mid September shocked INDIA into seething fury, and the Journalists got umpteen opportunities to hound the government at the Centre, accusing it of being the men of words, of which Ajit Doval was a selected target too.

Since he was famous for his espionage tactics, he and PM Modi were mocked personally by the MSM (the gang of mainstream media), and ridiculed in front of the Indian public. However, they grossly misjudged the silence of Ajit Doval as his ‘inability to react.’

That is where everyone went wrong, and horribly! I might be going filmy, but dude, if a lion steps back twice, that doesn’t mean he is bound to retreat!

If the government sources are to be believed, the troika of Manohar Parrikar, the Defence Minister, Doval and Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhag, chief of the Indian Army, was deputed under the instructions of PM Narendra Modi to devise an effective counter strategy.

It was this troika who apparently micromanaged the whole operation very well. What the opposition mistook, as just another ‘strategic meet’, was possibly a top secret meeting to devise the future course for proper action.

In fact, if I’m not wrong, it is Ajit Doval decided to test the deadly combination of aggressive diplomacy and surgical strikes.

Pakistan and its proxies in India, meanwhile were gloating on the apparent assumption, as aptly quoted in the famous Indian espionage flick, ‘BABY’, that ‘INDIA is all talk.’

With the soft speech in Kozhikode, PM Modi gave them apt time. But inside, If I’m correct, the stage was being set for the historic strike. Whatever one might say, but everything, even surgical strikes, take some credible time.

After all, Rome was not built in a day! The forces were set and prepared for the task. However, if converted into the dialogue of BABY, the situation of ‘Iss saal bahut saari Diwali hain (This year, there are lots of Diwali), as received through the encrypted sources, proved to be the final straw. The rest is HISTORY!

With that, began the process of screwing PAKISTAN in her own backyard. Beginning with the aggressive speech of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj at UNGA, the secret but smart strategy of the current National Security Advisor and our Prime Minister started reaping fruits, when led by INDIA, one by one, almost every nation associated with SAARC boycotted the upcoming summit at Islamabad, forcing the Pak authorities to cancel the same.

In fact, even the trusted allies of Pakistan, that is USA and China, decided to stay neutral, with the NSA of USA, Susan Rice, indirectly giving a go ahead for Ajit Doval to make the strike!

On a lighter note, since the attack was finalized for the dates of 28th and 29th September, I believe that Mr. Doval wanted to give the soldiers bound for the strikes an inspirational dose of Bhagat Singh, who was born on 28th, for the final assault.

To be precise, what will ensue post this attack will be chartered by the current policies of INDIA and PAKISTAN. But if we can be sure of anything, it is one thing and one thing alone: come what may, PAKISTAN has lost their trump card element of ‘surprise and stealth’, and we owe it to a major chunk, if not everything, to our ‘Desi Bond’, Ajit Doval.

Thank you, Mr. Doval; the nation will be indebted to you for your contribution for the coming ages.
