Remember Nirbhaya case? The unfortunate night of Sunday, 16th December 2012, when a young, 23 year old physiotherapist intern, Jyoti Singh, aka Nirbhaya, was brutally gang raped in a moving bus, by certified cannibals of the worst standard. Not only did it awaken the conscience of a rather dead Indian society, it also unleashed a wave of vibrant democracy that in one stroke, wiped out the allegedly corrupt and insensitive governments, from both the State and the Centre.
Now, if sources are to believed, get ready for a horrifying shocker. As per the published Intelligence Bureau reports, if this is true, then the most brutal rapist of that night, unfortunately the unnamed juvenile, who got free on the account of his age, is now allegedly connected with some Islamic terrorists, including an inmate of the Juvenile home, who was convicted in the notorious Delhi High Court bombing case of 2011.
Yes. It’s true, if we can believe the sources of the Intelligence Bureau, as obtained by news portal, The Quint, which Nirbhaya’s juvenile rapist is now in connection with the terrorists, since his stint at the Juvenile home. Yes, the most monstrous of those rapists, who allegedly inserted the iron rod into the private parts of that poor physiotherapist, and horribly brought the intestines of hers out, has some allegedly serious links with hardened criminals. In the words of an Intelligence Bureau Officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity,:-
‘It was a big mistake made by the Juvenile Observation Home to keep the convicted minor of the 2011 Delhi High Court blasts and the convicted Nirbhaya rapist together in isolation for as long as seven months. We don’t want this boy to be released, but legally we can’t do much about it. We fear that he will head straight to Kashmir after his release. The juvenile home not only failed to reform the rapist but also made a severe error of judgment.’
As per the news portal, The Quint, based on their personal research, the juvenile rapist was kept isolated with hardened criminals like the one from the Delhi High Court bombing case, at the juvenile home in Majnu Ka Tila, New Delhi. He had no one to talk to, till the 2011 bomb blast convict was shifted to his room. This was where the situation allegedly turned worse.
If we are to believe the Intelligence Bureau, they had already warned of the alleged proximity between the Delhi High Court Bomb Blast convict before the Delhi High Court ordered the release of the juvenile convict in 2015 on the grounds of his age, rejecting eminent politician Subramanian Swamy’s appeal against the same and his duly serving the imprisonment term, as prescribed by the Indian Penal Code. According to the IB, as per the report, the Kashmiri youth (convicted for the Delhi High Court bombing) had brainwashed this juvenile, who hails from Badaun district, allegedly imploring him to fight for the cause of Kashmiris.
“Recently some activity was noticed and we informed the local authorities,” said an intelligence official, without saying anything about the man’s present whereabouts.
“There is no specific input but whatever assistance is required will be provided by us,” said Sunil Saxena, senior superintendent of police, Badaun, as per the official reports.
Now what should we learn from this? If this is true, then we, as Indians, should be ashamed, for letting this monster free. God only knows what would happen, if this juvenile actually achieves what is feared by Intelligence Bureau. In that case, who is at fault? The governments? Probably, but given how they are bound legally, they can’t do much, although Maneka Gandhi set a precedent for further cases, with the amended Juvenile Justice Act, where such cases will also be treated like that of adults.
Then who is the culprit? If someone really needs to be lampooned, it is the scion of intellectual terrorists, and pseudo seculars, who in the name of ‘human rights’, cry crocodile tears for the conviction of the terrorists. Thanks to their endless campaigning, accompanied by prevalent laws, the alleged ‘monster’ of the juvenile rapist has got free. Does the victim in India has no right to justice? Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, unfortunately the Chief Minister of Delhi, had set a bizarre precedent, by giving the juvenile Rs. 10000 and a sewing machine to start afresh. Mr. Kejriwal, what will you say now? Oh wait, you don’t cry for the raped and the murdered, right? Shame on you, Mr. Kejriwal. Your actions make even abuses cringe on being associated with you. Where are the human rights activists now?
I know I might not make enough noise, but if the sources are true, then I appeal wholeheartedly to the Indian government, to stop this monster of a man from achieving his pursuits. I know I can’t give justice to Nirbhaya (It’s the job of the esteemed Supreme Court, where the case is pending), but surely, with this humble article, I can enlighten others to prevent such cases from happening again. Let not another monster like this go free in the garb of hypocrisy.
