The Awakened Citizen Program
The Awakened Citizen Program aims to educate and re-introduce the value of education to children in school. Education should focus not only on academics, but also on the holistic development of the child. The program does not prescribe what to do and does not allow students to develop confidence in themselves, discover values and make responsible decisions.
Every school year, the AKP is a resource that visits the school for class observation and supports teachers when needed. Trained teachers will act as moderators of the programme for a specific class in each school during the Awakened Citizen Program year. The trained teachers implement the program in their respective schools with smart class projectors for 16 sessions per year.
It is an interactive session in which the primary school teacher guides the guests and allows them to interact effectively to understand the essence of the lesson. The main objective of the meeting is to set up a career counselling center on the school campus. The session includes various interesting activities for effective establishment.
The organizer, the principal, informed about the events in the school and the curriculum. The session highlighted study patterns, evaluation methods, teaching methods and outcomes of student learning in the UK. Three teachers (Dlavanya, Ranbuselvi and Schandra) attended the session.

The Awakened Citizen Program Aims
The organizers (principals) ask many questions about the education of children and the education of parents. Students will receive tips on how to address their audience in public and formal forums to boost their self-confidence. First-graders are approached at various locations and informed about admissions and the pros and cons of the course.
The two-day Level 1 training for the Awakened Citizen Program of Ramakrishna Mission Resources, Mr. Sanjib Sengupta and Ms. Kuheli Sen, took place in our classrooms on June 13 and 14, 2019.
The goal of the two-day Awakened Citizenship Program workshop, based on principles and ideals of Swami Vivekananda and aimed at assisting young students with quality and values, is based on the message that each of us has an infinite source of strength, strength and goodness within us. The workshop was launched by the mission in 2014.
Swami Santatmananda, secretary of the mission, explained the mission and how it had developed a comprehensive three-year program based on Swamis message of the infinite potential of individuals to manifest excellence in all areas of life.
He encouraged students to participate in the Ramakrishna Mission’s 16-module education program, called “Awakened Citizen Program,” which has reached more than 1,700 schools across the country. The program also includes a teacher training module to provide value education to students. The Citizens Charter is the management of the vision of the mission, the core values and objectives of postgraduate studies.
The three-year program focuses on workshops for first to seventh graders. Each module is 3-5 hours long, with breaks for several short lessons that students can complete at their own pace.

Awakened Citizen Program Overview
The entire program was made possible thanks to the financial support from ONGC Ltd. and the impact of the program was assessed from a sample of 382 students, 28 teachers and 9 moderators. 932 of these students said that the moderators and moderators had more respect and confidence in themselves. 835 of these students felt empowered with universal values. Awakened Citizen Program Overview Following the great success of the first program it was decided to develop a three-year grade value education program for grades VII, VIII As part of the project the Ramakrishna Mission New Delhi created complete curriculum materials for the program and trained over 1000 teachers at NCR Bhopal to assess the impact of the program. As many of you know, we run a three-year Grade Value Education program for middle school students across the country.
In 2010-2011, 110 value education programs were conducted in Ashrams, various institutions and schools both inside and outside. So far, more than 4,650 schools have signed up, 20,000 trained teachers and 850,000 participating students. Interested schools can implement the Awakened Citizen Program for students in grades 6, 7, and 8, as well as grades 7, 8, and 9.

Awakened Programme Goals
Its goal is to make students in schools affiliated with Central Council of Secondary Schools (CBSE) citizens who value peace, harmony, humility and cooperation studying. ACP newsletters can be read here and are designed to offer active citizen programmes. The Awakened Citizen Program (ACP) is designed to help teachers realize the infinite potential of the teachers and students they teach.
The program consists of 48 modules (16 modules per year) and each module has a minimum duration of 45 minutes. Each class is assigned one module per week, and all 16 modules must be completed in 0.4 months. Students must read each module in special conditions and pay the module cost.
A total of 344 teachers have been trained by schools in Bhopal this year. Workshops were held with pupils from all schools, showing signs of success and growth.
The program has also helped teachers to address problems from different perspectives, resulting in calmer and healthier means of communication. CBSE has reviewed the content of the Citizens Corps programme and welcomes its implementation in schools (see CBSE Circular).
