A meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was convened under the esteemed chairmanship of Pujya Shri Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Ji.
The meeting which was held on Saturday deliberated upon several important matters including the proposed programs to be organised on the auspicious occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi.
The Trust resolved that a temple will be constructed at the sacred site where Prabhu Shri Ramlala, along with his brothers, was seated prior to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
“The Trust has decided that, at the place where Prabhu Shri Ramlala, along with his brothers, was earlier seated before the Pran Pratishtha, a Mandir will be constructed. Adjacent to this temple, a memorial is also being built in remembrance of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Shri Ram Mandir movement,” posted the official account of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra on X.
It was further decided that all programs related to Pratishtha Dwadashi will be organised at Angad Tila.
As part of these celebrations, Shri Ram Katha will be conducted. From 27 to 31 December, Mandala Puja will be performed at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, along with a musical Akhanda Parayan of Shri Ramcharitmanas.
The cultural programs will include a Bhajan Sandhya by renowned devotional singers Shri Anup Jalota Ji, Shri Suresh Wadkar Ji, and Smt. Tripti Shakya Ji.
In addition, various cultural presentations, including a Kathak dance drama, will be organised and a Kavi Sammelan will also be held, wherein eminent poets will recite compositions praising the virtues and glory of Prabhu Shri Ram.
The Trust also resolved to honour approximately 400 workers who have been actively involved in the construction of the Shri Ram Mandir.
This felicitation ceremony will be organised on 19 March, on the occasion of the Hindu New Year, as a mark of gratitude for their dedicated service.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is undertaking extensive preparations to manage a large influx of pilgrims at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, with special emphasis on crowd management, infrastructure development and security arrangements.
General Secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, on Saturday, shared comprehensive details about the ongoing construction work and the steps being taken to manage footfall at a scale comparable to major religious congregations such as the Kumbh Mela.
Addressing the media, Rai said the Trust is planning facilities with the possibility of very large crowds visiting the temple on special occasions in mind. He noted that several aspects of pilgrim management are being strengthened to ensure smooth movement, safety and convenience for devotees.
According to Rai, footwear management has emerged as a key area of focus due to the sheer number of visitors expected at the Ram Temple complex.
Rai said that if situations similar to the Kumbh Mela arise at the Ram Temple, existing systems would need to be expanded severalfold.
“Some information has been provided regarding the temple construction. If a scene like the Kumbh Mela appears in the temple, the shoe storage arrangements will need to be increased severalfold. So, shoe rooms are being built at two locations,” Rai said as per ET.
He further informed that once these facilities are completed, they will be capable of securely storing footwear for around 25,000 people at one time. In addition, the Trust is making arrangements to manage the storage of up to two lakh pairs of shoes over the course of a day.
