Industrialist Gautam Adani announced a significant philanthropic initiative on Wednesday, February 5, in celebration of his son Jeet Adani’s wedding with Diva Shah. As part of ‘Mangal Seva’, a welfare initiative, Jeet and Diva will donate ₹10 lakh each to 500 specially-abled women. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance and empower newly married women with disabilities.
Ahead of his wedding, Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani met 21 newly married differently-abled women and their husbands at his residence to inaugurate the initiative. Taking to X, Gautam Adani expressed pride in his son and daughter-in-law for beginning their journey with a commitment to service. He emphasised that ‘service is meditation, prayer, and God,’ hoping that Mangal Seva would bring dignity and happiness to disabled women and their families.
“I am confident that this sacred effort will lead to a life of happiness, peace, and respect for many specially-abled daughters and their families. I pray to the God to bless Jeet and Diva with the strength and capability to continue on this path of service,” Adani stated.

Jeet Adani currently serves as the Director of Adani Airport Holdings, managing eight airports across India. He also oversees the Adani Group’s defence, petrochemicals, and copper businesses, along with leading its digital transformation. Inspired by his mother, Priti Adani, who has transformed the Adani Foundation into a global philanthropic force, Jeet has shown a deep passion for social causes, particularly disability inclusion.
On the International Day of People with Disabilities 2024, Jeet facilitated a collaboration between the Adani Foundation and the Gujarat Government’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. This partnership led to the distribution of 1,150 technical kits to differently-abled students across the state’s Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
He has also been instrumental in the Adani Foundation’s collaboration with the Mitti Social Initiatives Foundation, ensuring that Mumbai and Lucknow airports host Mitti Cafes, which offer employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Jeet Adani Joins Shark Tank India for a Special Episode
In another significant move, Jeet Adani collaborated with Shark Tank India for a special episode, ‘Gateway to Shark Tank – Divyang Special.’ This episode is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities and those working towards solutions for people with disabilities.
“There is potential to disrupt this space. We need more passionate people to create solutions for problems faced by those who are specially abled. I am excited to partner with Shark Tank India and support entrepreneurs to help bring about this change, in whatever way possible,” said Jeet Adani.
In the special Shark Tank episode, Jeet will mentor entrepreneurs who are driving disability-inclusive innovation, alongside Anupam Mittal and other investors. Shark Tank India and Sony LIV have shared a promotional video, welcoming entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and solutions. Ranjana Mangla, Head of Ad Sales Revenue, Sony LIV, spoke about the initiative, appreciating Jeet Adani’s efforts.
“Shark Tank India has been a beacon of hope for every Indian aspiring to make a mark. We have consistently aimed to be an inclusive platform, supporting initiatives for the specially-abled, be it entrepreneurs with disabilities or businesses catering to empower them,” Ranjana Mangla said.
She further emphasised how collaborations with leaders like Jeet Adani amplify the overall impact and reach of Shark Tank India, making it a truly transformational platform. The special ‘Divyang Special’ episode of Shark Tank India is currently inviting entries until February 15. After this deadline, shortlisted pitches will be selected for the exclusive episode.
