Bahujan Journalist and activist Dilip Mandal who once used to sit on the same dining table along with the Islamo-Leftist ecosystem discussing ways to manufacture historical characters has got a change of mind. Dilip Mandal is now hammering down the historical myths created by him and former friends years ago, one among which includes the myth surrounding Fatima Sheikh.
Fatima Sheikh whom the Islamo-Leftist circles revere as India’s first Muslim school teacher who fought ‘atrocities’ committed by the ‘Brahmanical forces’ was nothing but a mythical character that came out of the mind of Dilip Mandal a few years back. The fact was revealed by none other than the Bahujan Journalist himself.
Not only did he keep the shocking truth in front of the world exposing the Islamo-Leftist ecosystem’s tactic of creating fictional characters to push their agenda but also uncovered the biasedness of ‘Wikipedia’ against the Hindus and towards truth.
Dilip Mandal pointed out that Fatima Sheikh’s name is absent from the extensive writings of Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar despite Fatima Sheikh being described as a colleague of the Phules in modern narratives. He emphasised that no biographers, British documents, or Muslim scholars from the era mentioned her.
Dilip Mandal mentioned that the name of Fatima Sheikh has gained traction in recent years due to social media narratives and political amplification. Providing a Google Trends chart as evidence, Dilip Mandal highlighted that searches for Fatima Sheikh peaked only in January 2022, coinciding with a Google Doodle celebrating her “191st birthday.”
Moreover, he also highlighted that the book ‘Women Writing in India: 600 B.C. to the Early Twentieth Century’ published in 1991 puts forth the earliest of the reference of Fatima Sheikh and mentions her as a colleague of the Phules but offers no further details about her contributions which holds and does not identify her as an educator.
Despite providing enough of the sounding evidence by Dilip Mandal, Wikipedia did not act responsively and decided not to delete the Wikipedia page meant for Fatima Sheikh. Though, the Journalist got some success in pushing Wikipedia to the backend.
This is a big red pill 🔴 moment.
The fake blue saree photo of the fake Fatima Sheikh has been removed by Wikipedia.
Date of birth deleted.
Date of death removed.

Following the evidence presented by Dilip Mandal, the Wikipedia page on Fatima Sheikh faced scrutiny. An editor proposed its deletion, citing insufficient evidence on Fatima Sheikh. This sparked debate among editors; some supported the deletion, labeling the article as lacking historical basis, while others argued that a 1991 book mentioning Sheikh justified her inclusion, despite unclear details. Ultimately, the deletion proposal was withdrawn, edits questioning her authenticity were removed, and critics were blocked, leaving the page unchanged and Dilip Mandal’s claims unaddressed.

This shows the biases against facts with which Wikipedia operates.
This is not the first time the people are getting such glaring examples of the left bias of Wikipedia and its sidelining with the Islamo-Leftist ecosystem. There have been enough instances that weigh the fact of Wikipedia being a narrative tool of the Left. From falsely showcasing Hindus as the conspirators and the perpetrators of the Anti-Hindu Delhi Riots to portraying the Non-Left intellectuals and Historians as conspiracy theories, the falsehood of the free encyclopedia is quite openly visible.
A few days back, Former Wikimedia Foundation CEO Katherine Maher admitted in her speech that Wikipedia prioritizes “minimum viable truth” over objective facts, emphasizing consensus and collaboration over accuracy. Maher also acknowledged Wikipedia’s inherent biases, suggesting that truth evolves and that neutrality is challenging due to the personal biases of contributors. Deep Research supports these claims, showing Wikipedia’s ideological bias.
Studies, including those by Larry Sanger and the Manhattan Institute, found a pronounced Left-leaning slant. Editors often deem Left-leaning sources reliable while sidelining or blacklisting Right-leaning perspectives, undermining the Neutral Point of View policy.
It must be noted that the Modi government has also raised concerns about Wikipedia’s content in November 2024, citing biases and inaccuracies stemming from the control of a small group of editors. These editors have significant authority over content, including banning edits, deleting pages, and determining disputes. This control undermines claims of openness and transparency which is quite visible through Wikipedia’s decision of not deleting the page dedicated to the mythical character ‘Fatima Sheikh’.
