Ayodhya Dham has erupted in devotion, marking the Pratishtha Dwadashi celebrations from January 11 to 13, 2025, as the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s consecration in the grand Ram Mandir.

This three-day festival is going to be a tremendous spiritual and cultural extravaganza, attracting devotees from all corners of the country.

The celebrations started with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performing the sacred Abhishek of Shri Ram Lalla at 11 AM in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. Following the Maha-abhishek, he inaugurated a cultural programme at Angad Tila and addressed devotees.

The event is special because it marks the completion of one year of the inauguration of the newly constructed Ram Mandir, which is a symbol of Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma. According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Pratishtha Dwadashi falls on Paush Shukla Paksha, Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2081.

Highlights of the Festival

Citywide Celebrations: Vibrant kirtans and cultural performances will continue throughout the day at locations like Lata Chowk, Janmabhoomi Path, and Ram Ki Paidi, creating a divine ambiance across Ayodhya.

A special song dedicated to Lord Ram will be released. Renowned singers Anuradha Paudwal, Hariharan, Malini Awasthi, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sonu Nigam have contributed for this devotional composition. 

Devotional Performances

The Shri Ram Raag-Seva, a three-day series of devotional music, dance, and instrumental renditions curated by Yatindra Mishra, will take place near the Mandir. Supported by the Sangeet Natak Academy, it features renowned artists like Usha Mangeshkar, Mayuresh Pai, and Rakesh Chaurasia. 

The festivities promise a blend of spirituality and culture, commemorating a historic milestone for Ayodhya and devotees worldwide.
