Former Shiv Sena Spokesperson, Sanjay Gupta in one of the podcasts targeted Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi saying that she is not committed to the party’s ideology. Slamming Chaturvedi, he added, ‘She is a person who prioritises her vested political interests over party’s future’. Sanjay Gupta alleged that the Rajya Sabha MP has influenced Shiv Sena (UBT) to align more closely with Congress, causing the party to drift away from its core Hindutva ideology and compromising its saffron roots.

However, while attempting to question her ideological credentials, Sanjay Gupta made contentious and defamatory remarks against Priyanka Chaturvedi. He insinuated that Priyanka Chaturvedi, a close ally of Shiv Sena (UBT) senior leadership, has “access to bedrooms of senior leadership.” The vile and disgraceful statement towards a woman, which translates to “Priyanka Chaturvedi ki pahunch bedroom tak hai,” has been widely condemned.

Reacting to the clip of the podcast, Chaturvedi tagged Mumbai Police asking them to take action against Sanjay Gupta, former spokesperson of SS (UBT), for making vile comments against her. In her cryptic post, she asserted that Mumbai Police has no credibility left since it being in the pockets of the current Maharashtra’s government led by Shiv Sena and BJP alliance.

“Dear MumbaiPolice – if you have any credibility left in you, and want to take action against malicious lies and defamation you will take action. But oh wait…” she wrote.

Reacting to her post, political commentator Ankur Singh, who runs the political page ‘Political Kida,’ responded by advising Priyanka Chaturvedi to file an FIR instead of merely tagging the police online. He highlighted that tagging Mumbai Police online doesn’t make police file defamation cases.

However, the comment didn’t go down well with Chaturvedi who went on a personal tirade against the popular X handle, and started using name calling to secure his silence on the matter.

Indulging in uncouth name calling, Priyanka Chaturvedi termed Ankur Singh as “the vilest” and accused him of obsessing over her personal life.

Honestly Ankur?!  you have been the vilest. I will do what I have to and I will go for it, hope you understood what you have been doing ! Obsessing over my Instagram and my personal life !”, she reacted.

Ankur Singh, in turn, challenged her to show proof of any indecent comments he made. Unable to provide evidence, Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi attempted to shfit the goal post and invoked the name of his venture, political Kida. She then went further and accused him of working in service of Bharatiya Janata Party.

After the baseless accusation of the Rajya Sabha MP, Ankur Singh came up to expose Priyanka Chaturvedi and presented her past tweet where she could be seen disrespecting the women who align with BJP. In the tweet, she referred to BJP-supporting women as “Hate Hags.” She endorsed Outlook magazine’s term for BJP supporters and dared critics to sue her for it.

Hate Hags perfect term coined by Outlook magazine for NaMo’s women supporters on social media. Sue me now for saying this” her past tweet said.

In the ensuing verbal exchange, the X user, Ankur Singh retorted sharply to Priyanka Chaturvedi’s name calling spree stating that she was acting “as a troll”. In another post, Singh took a jibe at Priyanka Chaturvedi saying, “Your Moral Compass is worse than your Maths,” flagging her friendly stance against Congress, the party which she left citing harassement.
