The US embassy on Saturday dismissed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) accusations that the US State Department manipulated media reports against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that it only supports independent media through capacity-building training for journalists and does not influence the editorial decisions of independent media organisations. The BJP had made the strong accusations against the US colluding with the Indian opposition parties through its social media handles.
The US embassy has reacted to the BJP’s remarks on OCCRP-U.S. State Department and the American Deep state destabilising India; says, “It’s disappointing that the ruling party in India would make these kinds of accusations. The U.S. government works with independent organizations on programming that supports professional development and capacity building training for journalists. This programming does not influence the editorial decisions or direction of these organizations. The United States has long been a champion of media freedom around the world. A free and independent press is an essential component of any democracy, enabling informed and constructive debate and holding those in power accountable.”

Responding to the BJP’s allegations, the US embassy said, “The U.S. government works with independent organisations on programming that supports professional development and capacity building training for journalists. This programming does not influence the editorial decisions or direction of these organizations”.
Taking to X the official handle of the BJP had written a scathing statement against the US deep state, Soros, and it link with the Congress party, “It has always been the U.S. State Department behind this agenda. A French investigative media group, Mediapart, has revealed that OCCRP is funded by the U.S. State Department’s USAID, along with other deep state figures like George Soros and the Rockefeller Foundation. In fact, 50% of OCCRP’s funding comes directly from the U.S. State Department. OCCRP has served as a media tool for carrying out a deep state agenda.”
“The Deep State had a clear objective to destabilise India by targeting Prime Minister Modi. To achieve this, they turned to OCCRP, instructing the organisation to provide material aimed at damaging PM Modi’s and India’s image. Congress then exploited this material to launch attacks on PM Modi, propagate false narratives, and disrupt the functioning of Parliament. The U.S. Deep State was always working behind the scenes.”
This thread reveals the Congress-Deep State connection!
Over the last four years, every issue on which the Congress party has targeted the BJP seems to rely on narratives and supporting material originating from abroad.

“Over the last four years, every issue on which the Congress party has targeted the BJP seems to rely on narratives and supporting material originating from abroad. Issues like Pegasus, Adani, caste census, ‘democracy in danger’, Global Hunger Index, religious freedom, and press freedom – all appear to draw heavily from international sources.” The extremely long thread that was posted by the official handle of the ruling party included the details on how the US deep state is linked to the Congress and its agendas. It indicated that the opposition party of India is in connection with deep state figures of the USA and uses the specific given agendas to target the country.
