Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently stroked another fresh controversy when he made a controversial remark on the historic Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony that took place earlier this year in Ayodhya. Notably, while campaigning for the Haryana elections, he made a reference to the Pran Pratishtha event which saw the culmination of centuries-long legal battle for the birthplace of Lord Ram. Stroking a fresh controversy, he went on to trivialise the event by liking it as a ‘nach gaana’ event. His remarks drew strong backlash from BJP officials, particularly Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
What Did Rahul Gandhi Say?
At a public gathering in Hisar, Haryana, Gandhi alleged that the poor farmers were missing at the Ayodhya temple inauguration. He said, “Why did you lose in Ayodhya, when the temple was opened in Ayodhya, Adani was there, Ambani was there, Amitabh Bachchan was there, and the whole of Bollywood was there? But you did not see a single poor farmer, it is the truth. That is why Awadhesh has defeated them, Awadhesh is the MP from there, he, who won in Ayodhya, and that is why the whole of India is watching, Bhaiya, you opened the Ram temple first.”
CM Yogi Adityanath responds to Rahul Gandhi’s shameful Nach-Gana at Ram Mandir inauguration comment:
Yogi: Pran Pratishtha of Ram lalla was Nach-Gana for you? Your family has been doing Nach-Gana all through their life!

He continued, “You told the President that you are tribal, you cannot come inside, you are not allowed. You invited Amitabh Bachchan, Adani, and Ambani, you did not allow a single labourer to come. Did you see a carpenter, a farmer, a labourer? No one, song, and music event (naach gaana) is going on, the press people are saying ‘hai hai hai, song and music event (naach gaana) is going on, dance is going on, the whole of India is dancing.”
Yogi Adityanath hits back at Gandhi scion
While addressing a rally in Bawani Khera, Haryana, UP CM Yogi Adityanath hit out at Gandhi scion for his ‘nach ganna’ remark.
CM Yogi said, “On January 22, the wait of 500 years ended. Ram Lalla was enthroned in Ayodhya. The whole world was overwhelmed, but these unlucky Congressmen who grew up with Rome culture, those who call themselves accidental Hindus unfortunately, couldn’t handle this.”
He lambasted Rahul Gandhi for his controversial ‘Nach Ganna’ remark saying, “Your entire family has been doing only this all their life.”
CM Yogi charged Congress with undermining Hindu culture, adding that they travel abroad to disparage India while identifying as accidental Hindus.
He further emphasized that questioning India’s traditions and institutions reveals a fundamental disconnect from the nation’s values. Highlighting the perseverance of those who uphold Ram’s ideals, he concluded that their efforts have led to the successful reinstatement of Lord Ram’s rightful place.
He added, “Its result is in front of us today. Lord Ram is enthroned again.”
