Indore Police Commissioner, in a statement released on X, revealed that the trigger for the FIR was a false letter circulating on social media. This letter, attributed to a person named Gyanendra Awasthi, alleged that contractors across the state were compelled to pay a hefty 50 percent commission. However, when the Congress leaders failed to substantiate these claims with concrete evidence, their “hit and run” tactics came under scrutiny.
In response, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan opted for a direct confrontation. He addressed the issue during a public press conference, effectively dismantling the accusations and exposing the lack of substance in the Congress’ claims.
