V Senthil Balaji, the current Minister for Electricity, Prohibition, and Excise in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led Tamil Nadu government, was apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on charges of alleged money laundering and this development has thrust the Stalin government into a new and tumultuous political drama, as they now face the repercussions of these serious accusations.
