The incident occurred in Ghaziabad, where an innocent girl was subjected to unspeakable brutality. On August 18, 2022, the perpetrator, Kapil Kashyap, took two girls on his bicycle and, on the way, slapped a 6-year-old girl and then raped a 9-year-old girl in a sugarcane field. Fearing that the truth would be revealed, he went ahead and murdered the innocent girl.

Taking notice of the incident, the police arrested him. He was charged with IPC sections 302 for murder, 363 for abduction, and 376 for rape. The court sentenced the convict to death by hanging and charged a penalty. The case has been solved and adjudicated in a record time span of 5 months and 29 days. The swift investigation and judgment will indeed fill people with hope, but it will also deter those who have such a filthy mindset and are a danger to society.
UP is fighting against crimes
The credit for the fast delivery of justice also goes to the current UP government, which is proving to be a deterrent force against crime and criminals. CM Yogi Adityanath has time and again expressed his intention to combat crime in the state. His policies are centered around “zero tolerance against crimes’. In a series of instances, this case is the latest achievement of the UP government, administration, and judiciary.
