Kuber Bhandari Mandir is situated on the banks of river Narmada in Karnali village, opposite to Poicha in Vadodara district of Gujarat, about 60 km from Vadodara. This temple is 800 feet above the cost of the holy river Narmada. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, named after Kubera Bhandari, the god of food and water. Devotees can visit the Neelkanth Dham Swaminarayan Temple located on the opposite bank of the Narmada River by boat.

History of this Temple

This ancient Kuber Bhandari Mandir Gujarat was built about 2500 years ago. Narmada is one of the most sacred rivers of India and many places of pilgrimage are situated around it. Kuber Bhandari is one of the most famous pilgrimage places here on the banks of river Narmada. Devotees of Lord Shiva from all over India throng here throughout the year especially on Amasa and Purnima, Somvati Amavasya. Devotees take a holy dip in the Narmada river before going for darshan at the Kuber Bhandari temple.
