Shani Dham Mandir located in Delhi, the capital of India, is famous for the world’s largest stone idol of Lord Shani. Let us tell you that Lord Shani is the main deity of this temple. Apart from Shani Dev, the temple also has shrines for other deities like Hanuman ji, Goddess Jagadamba, Shiva Linga and other deities.

The most special thing about Shani Dham Mandir Delhi is that there is no priest or sage in the temple, all the devotees who come here themselves perform various pujas to the Shani idol. The idol of Shani Dev in this temple was established in the year 2003 by ‘Anant Shree Vibhushit Jagat Guru Shankaracharya Swami Madhavashram Ji Maharaj.

History of this Temple

The biggest idol of Lord Shiva in Shani Dham Mandir Delhi was installed by Anant Shri Vibhushit Jagat Guru Shankaracharya Swami Madhavashram Ji Maharaj on 31st May 2003 at Asola, Fatehpur Behri, Delhi. An idol of Shani Dev was also installed in Pali, Rajasthan. Ever since the Shani Dham Temple was established, this temple has become a great place of worship for the devotees.

Shani Dham Mandir Delhi Timings

The Shani Dham Mandir of Delhi remains open for devotees 6 days a week. Monday to Saturday. This temple opens from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the morning and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the evening.
