History of this Temple

There are many stories related to the history of the Kunkeshwar Mandir. And according to one of them there lived a cow in the forest of Kunki, who used to spill her milk on a stone. After seeing this action again and again, the angry boss hit the stone with a hammer. But it starts bleeding. They soon realized that the stones were narcissists from a certain event and began to pray for it. This is how the temple came into existence and came to be known as the abode of Lord Kunakeshwar.
