Few hours of Amit Shah in Bihar is good rough to ruffle Mahagathbandhan

Amit Shah Bihar rally

Amit Shah Bihar rally: Nitish Kumar has been the chief minister of Bihar for almost two decades now. The man is known for his opportunism as he knows well when to switch sides, between the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Lalu Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). In the last assembly elections, Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) was cornered at the third position. The BJP still considering the ‘Gathbandhan-dharm’ gave thee chief minister’s chair to Nitish Kumar only to get ditched. Last year, Kumar switched sides and is currently at the CM chair with RJD’s support. However, the future holds nothing for Kumar and it seems that he already can sense it.

Nitish Kumar holds ‘immediate’ rally

As the political mercury goes up in Bihar in the wake of upcoming 2024 elections, Bihar braced some political sabre rattling on Saturday, as Bihar CM Nitish Kumar rushed for a rally after it was announced that Union Home Minister Amit Shah would address. Shah began his tour from Balmiki Nagar Lok Sabha constituency, a party stronghold that was given away to Kumar’s JD(U) as part of the seat-sharing arrangements in 2019.

The function coincided with Kumar’s rally in Purnea along with his deputy, Tejashwi Yadav, joined by his smaller allies like Congress and the Left. It is being said that the rally organised in a haphazard way was an attempt to show strength to the BJP, something at which Kumar failed miserably. Kumar was trying to display the state’s version of a ‘united opposition’. It was being said that Bihar CM Kumar planned to answer Amit Shah through a mega rally, however, no one could stand the ground ahead of today’s ‘Chanakaya’.

Amit Shah shows the mirror to Kumar

Union Minister Amit Shah in his public address rally slammed the Bihar chief minister for joining hands with the Congress and RJD. Shah claimed that Kumar had done so to fulfil his prime ministerial ambitions, thus calling out his opportunism. Shah added that the JD(U)-RJD tie up is an ‘unholy alliance’ like oil and water. Shah also charged Kumar for plunging Bihar into ‘jungle-raj’. Shah said, “After fighting his entire life, since the days of Jay Prakash Narayan, against the Congress and ‘jungle raj’, Nitish Kumar has allied with Lalu’s RJD and Sonia Gandhi’s Congress. He has become ‘avsarwadi’ (opportunist) from being ‘vikaswaadi’ (pro-development) for his prime-ministerial ambitions. Enough of ‘Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram’, the BJP’s doors are closed forever for Nitish.”

BJP wishes a clean sweep in the upcoming polls

Shah recalled that BJP had won a far greater number of seats in the last assembly polls and hinted that its high time that the BJP forms its own government in the state with full majority. Shah said, “The tone can be said in the next Lok Sabha elections.” With the efforts of Shah it is clear that the BJP wishes a clean sweep in the state. Will Kumar be able to save his grace, that only time can tell.
