Waris Punjab De Row: Patronising radical elements for mere political benefit became the fatal cause for the militant insurgency in the 1980s. Unfortunately, it seems that the Indian political parties like AAP or organisations like SGPC have not learnt any lessons from the past atrocious decisions of Indira Gandhi. The recent heinous show of street strength by Khalistanis clearly demonstrates that with the passage of time only the players have changed but the bloody game, its modus operandi and repercussions for national security and sovereignty have remained virtually the same.
Khalistanis rampage Police Station
On 23rd of February, ‘Waris Punjab De’ Chief Amritpal Singh along with his Khalistani supporters rammed Police barricades to vandalise and stormed the Ajnala Police Station near Amritsar. The anarchist horde wielded sharp edge weapons and guns.
They also threatened the Police officials to face dire consequences in case their alleged kidnapper associate Lovepreet Singh Toofan was not released within 24 hours.

Leading the Khalistani horde, Amritpal also issued threats to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah who had earlier asserted that they won’t let Khalistan movement rise.
Openly advocating Pak-operated secessionist movement, Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh spewed secessionist venom. He lamented that the aim for Khalistan shouldn’t be seen as evil & taboo rather should be seen as an intellectual ideology, one that can even yield geopolitical benefits.

What is heart-wrenching is that this anarchist and secessionist movement was given a free pass by the subservient Police and power hungry politicians including those governing the state. Rather than cracking on these secessionist elements terrorising the state, the administration kneeled to the demand of the horde.

Top officers, including Amritsar Police Commissioner Jaskarn Singh and SSP (Rural) Satinder Singh held negotiations with Amritpal. Later the police announced that Lovepreet would be discharged from the case and due legal steps would be taken for the same.
Waris Punjab De: The scary repeat of 1980s
For the desperate want of validation, political correctness has absolved several politicians of their heinous crime against India and Indians. For making political inroads in the state, Former PM Indira Gandhi patronised localised saints to implant him as the face for the masses, he was none other than Khalistani Bhindrawale.

AAP leaders are doing exactly the same knowing the ugly fate it yielded for the nation. It is high time that this secessionist monster is brought within the ambit of law. And cheapsters are not glorified or pastored for acts of thuggery, vandalism and flaring secessionist sentiments that have glaring imprints of our western neighbour Pakistan.
