Muktidham Mandir is one of the most visited religious tourist places located in the ancient city of Nashik. It is located at a distance of 8 km from the city center. This beautiful temple is famous for the exact replica of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.

History of this Temple

Muktidham Mandir Nashik was built in the year 1971 by Nashik’s renowned industrialist Late. Shri Jairambhai Bitko. The paintings have been painted by the artist himself. This beautiful temple is made of white marble. The marble used in the temple was brought from Makrana located in Rajasthan, India. The construction work was done by sculptors from Rajasthan.

The 18 chapters of the holy Bhagavad Gita are inscribed on the walls of this temple. Apart from the twelve Jyotirlingas in the Muktidham temple complex, temples of Hindu Gods like Lord Rama Lakshmana, Lord Shri Krishna, Vishnu, Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Goddess Sita were also constructed.

Muktidham Mandir Nashik remains open from 6 am to 7 pm. You can also visit this place on public holidays. October to March is the best time to visit Muktidham Temple.

Ramkund
