Crowned as the largest highway circular park in the whole of Asia, Jawahar Circle Park in Jaipur is surrounded by several attractions. From spectacular jogging tracks to musical fountains, rose garden and much more, the garden has a host of facilities that make it an instant attraction among tourists.

The garden was developed by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) in the year 2009 with the aim of attracting more tourists and allowing visitors to enjoy a serene experience in the heart of Rajasthan. Jawahar Circle is also a favorite place for the people of Jaipur as their weekend getaway. Apart from people visiting the park for morning and evening walks; Picnics and casual visits to the various areas of the park, including the musical fountains, are much-loved by tourists and the people of Jaipur.

History of this place

Jawahar Circle in the beautiful Pink City of Rajasthan was built in 2009 by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA). The garden is also named as Asia’s largest circular park which is found in a highway traffic circle. Rajasthan being a desert state with the temperature skyrocketing during the peak summer season, maintaining and managing the garden is a way of being a task to manage.

The total cost of the garden is close to 170 lakhs, it includes several recreational areas including jogging track, walkways, landscaping musical fountain, seating benches and park. Major development of the garden also includes the spread of rose plantations throughout the region.

About Jawahar Circle Musical Show

Set amidst beautiful gardens, the main attraction of Jawahar Circle is the concerts. Sparkling lights and thrilling music, the Jawahar Circle Music Show is held every day at around 7:00 pm and visitors throng the place to enjoy the show. It’s an exciting show and a must-see if you go to the park.

How to reach Jawahar Circle

By Air- Jawahar Circle is very close to Jaipur airport, less than a kms. If you don’t have any luggage you can just walk to reach this place.

By Train- The Nearest railway station from this place is Jaipur railway station. From here you can easily reach this place by using local transport services or taxi.

By Road- You can easily reach this place from any part of the country because roads to this place are well connected with the other cities of the country.
