Master conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar of Jacqueline Fernandez was a loyal AAP donor

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar

“Hum to Rajneeti badalne aaye hain ji” these were the lines through which Arvind Kejriwal promised to practise a ‘new kind of politics for change’. Aam Aadmi Party presented themselves as the crusader against corruption. However, if we look at the Aam Aadmi Party today, there are umpteenth leaders accused of grave corruption and malpractices. The liqour scam was already a pain in AAP’s head and now conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has dropped a bombshell.

Chandrasekhar’s exposes AAP

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has written a letter to the Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena in which he has made explosive claims about giving money to Aam Aadmi Party leaders. Sukesh has made claims of paying more than Rs 10 crore to the AAP minister Satyendra Jain as ‘protection money’ as he was harassed and threatened in the jail.

In his letter Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has claimed that he has known the AAP minister Satyendra Jain since 2015. Further he has claimed to have donated more than Rs 50 crore to the party for the promise of an important post in the party in South Zone. He has claimed in his letter that in exchange of funds he was to be nominated to Rajya Sabha following the party’s expansion in the south.

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar gave ‘protection money’ to Satyendra Jain

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar claims in his letter that even after his arrest, he was in contact with the AAP minister. He claimed that he was visited by Satyendra Jain, who then held the Jail portfolio, in Tihar, when he was behind the bars in the two leaf Symbol Corruption Case in 2017. He was asked if he had disclosed anything to the investigating agency pertaining to his contribution to the Aam Aadmi Party.

Fast forward to 2019, Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar claims to have been visited by Satyendra Jain, his secretary and his close friend Sushil. He claims in his letter that, “They asked me to pay Rs 2 crores every month to them as protection money to live safely in jail, and to get even basic facilities. Also, he asked me to pay Rs 1.50 crore to DG prison Sandeep Goel, who he said was a loyal associate of his. A total amount of Rs 10 crores was extorted from me through constant pressure in 2-3 months.”

AAP threatens Sukesh

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar claims in his letter than during the investigation he had already disclosed all the details of the amount paid to Satyendra Jain and AAP and DG prison. However, still no action has been initiated against the biggies.

Sukesh has even alleged that Satyendra Jain who is currently lodges in Jail-7 Tihar had been threatening and harassing him through the Jail administration to withdraw the complaint filed in the High Court. Through the letter to the LG, Sukesh has conveyed that he is ready to record his statement before a court and a judge. He writes, “I am ready to give all the evidence supporting my complaint against Satyendar Jain of AAP. I am also ready to record my statement before a court and a judge. But the truth has to be out, as I am not able to keep it inside me anymore, I am being harassed. They (AAP) and their so-called honest government have to be exposed and shown that even in jail they are involved in high-level corruption.”

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar is currently in Jail

Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar was detained and is currently being jailed in Delhi’s Mandoli jail on charges that he demanded money from prominent individuals, including Aditi Singh, the wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh. After making several requests, he was moved from Delhi’s Tihar Prison to Mandoli prison in August of this year. He asserted that he had received murder threats inside the Tihar prison. He filed a petition with the Supreme Court last month asking for his release from Mandoli prison. The Supreme Court, however, declined to consider his appeal. The Delhi Police is looking into Sukesh Chandrashekhar in relation to an alleged Rs 215 crore criminal conspiracy, embezzlement, and extortion case.

Kejriwal stoops to a new low

Discarding the fact that Sukesh is ready to substantiate his claims, Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference to escape accountability and run away from the allegations. In his rhetorical style, he made a bizarre statement. He claimed that all this is being done to distract people from the Morbi tragedy. Matter of fact is that several accused have been arrested for the unfortunate Morbi tragedy and the investigation is still ongoing.

What Kejriwal needs to answer is, has anything left for him to claim himself and his party a crusader against corruption.
