On 12 December 2020 Tanveer Sangha made his list A debut at Sydney Thunder stadium in which match was played against Melbourne Stars. Sangha was named in Australia’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad in January 2021 in which series match was played against New Zealand. In the 2021–22 Sheffield Shield season he made his first-class debut on 27 October 2021, for New South Wales.
