11 Banned dog breeds Gurugram: Pet dog bites have increased in the last few months. Similar reports have also come from many cities including Noida, Delhi. Children and adults have also become victims of these dog attacks. A similar incident had also happened in Gurugram in past, where a woman was attacked by a dog. Due to which she was injured. In order to prevent such attacks on people, Gurugram District Consumer Disputes Forum has taken a big decision. The Forum has ordered the Municipal Corporation to ban and detain 11 foreign dog breeds.

Also asked to prepare a new policy for pet dogs in three months
The Forum directed the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram to frame a policy for pet dogs within three months. Let us tell you that the woman who was attacked by the dog was injured. While taking action in the matter, the corporation had imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh on the woman from the owner of the dog.
These 11 dog breeds were banned in Gurugram
The Gurugram Consumer Forum has banned 11 dog breeds in the district. In such a situation, the dogs of these breeds will neither be able to buy nor be able to keep them.
The 11 breeds of dogs that have been banned by Gurugram Consumer Forum include
- American Bulldog,
- American Pit Bull Terrier,
- Dogo Argentino,
- Rottweiler,
- Boerboel,
- Presa Canario,
- Neapolitan Mastiff,
- Wolfdog,
- Cane Corso,
- Bandog and
- Fila Brasileiro etc.
These dogs have been described as dangerous by the forum.
Those who have dogs of these breeds, their license will be canceled
The Forum directs the MCG to cancel all licenses issued in favor of dog owners to keep the above mentioned pet dogs with immediate effect and to take the above dogs into its custody immediately. This order has been issued by the Forum on 15 November.
This instruction issued for other dogs also
Guidelines have also been issued by the Forum for the owners of other dogs. Accordingly, every registered dog must wear a collar. Along with this, he has to be caught by a chain made of metal. According to the instructions, a family can keep only one dog. At the same time, whenever the registered dog is taken to public places, it will cover its mouth properly with a net cap.
