Conversion Event Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party was formed on the demand of enactment of the Jan Lokpal Bill, in the aftermath of India Against Corruption movement. The political start-up climbed up the ladder of politics of Delhi, courtesy of widespread anti-incumbency against Sheila Dixit and Congress’ rampant scams.
After its formation, AAP chose the way of ‘secular’ politics. Kejriwal opposed the construction of Ram Mandir. However, Kejriwal changed his ways very swiftly and adopted a softer version of Hindutva politics. At Least this is how the media and political analysts believed. But it is hard to veil the truth and once again Aam Aadmi Party’s Hindu hate has been exposed in open, by one of their own.
AAP minister on a mass conversion spree
AAP’s Hindu hatred is known to all and it has been exposed once again. AAP’s legislator from Seemapuri, Rajesh Pal Gautam, who also owns the portfolio of Minister of Social Welfare in the Arvind Kejriwal government, took part in a mass conversion event in Delhi.
During an conversion event held on October 5, at Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan in New Delhi, AAP minister was seen spewing venom against Hindus and asking them to convert. As per reports, 10,000 Hindus were converted en masse to Buddhism in the conversion event.
The AAP minister took to Twitter to gloat over the same. He wrote, “With the support of Mission Jai Bhim, more than 10,000 intellectuals took a pledge to make a caste-free and untouchable India by converting to the Faith of Gautam Buddha.”

Don’t pray to Hindu gods
The AAP minister was not only seen taking the oath with other attendees but also saying that they would not perform puja of any Hindu gods after getting converted. A saffron clad man, probably a Buddhist monk, was seen administering the oath to the crowd, which resembled the vows taken by BR Ambedkar.
In the video people can be heard saying, “I shall have no faith in Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara, nor shall I worship them. I shall have no faith in Rama and Krishna who are believed to be the incarnation of God nor shall I worship them.” Which furthered as they must not believe that “Lord Buddha was the incarnation of Vishnu.”
The video continues with “I shall not allow any ceremonies to be performed by Brahmins. I renounce Hinduism which is harmful to humanity and impedes the advancement and development of humanity because it is based on inequality and adopt Buddhism as my religion.”
The AAP minister can be seen repeating the controversial vows, as he shared the stage. Later, the minister also delivered a speech, in which he asked the Hindus to renounce their faith.
BJP opens its arsenal against Rajendra Pal Gautam
The Bhartiya Janata Party has opened its arsenal against the Aam Aadmi Party and has accused the party of being ‘Hindu Virodhi Party’. The saffron party accused the AAP minister of spreading hate and spokesperson Manoj Tiwari demanded the AAP minister’s resignation.
Tiwari claimed that it is an insult to Hinduism and Buddhism and alleged that AAP ministers are attempting to incite riots. During the press conference organised by the BJP, BJP Delhi president Adesh Gupta claimed that Gautam had insulted the Hindu deities.
Gupta said that “The way Kejriwal’s minister Rajendra Gautam has insulted Hindu deities is condemnable and he should be punished for it. The history of AAP has always been of spreading hatred and insulting Hindu religion.”
However, Rajendra Pal Gautam has denied the allegations and said that there is no harm in embracing Buddhism.

Will AAP sack Gautam?
Rajendra Pal Gautam shamelessly claims that he has done no wrong. While there have been widespread demands of Gautam’s resignation, the major question is will AAP sack Gautam? And the clear-cut answer is ‘No’. Nothing more can be expected from a Hindu hater like Kejriwal.
For those unversed with Kejriwal’s Hindu hatred, he along with Sisodia had questioned if building a temple can lead to development of a country. However, he later visited Ayodhya after changing his politics to soft Hindutva. Well, it was Kejriwal who had earlier mocked the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus by calling ‘The Kashmir Files’ a “jhoothi film”.
