For quite some time now, Punjab under the AAP government has gone through doldrums. The AAP’s Punjab has experienced a close toss marking almost all the communities as unsafe. And with yet another nuance, even Christians are now unsafe under AAP.
This time Christians are at stake in Punjab
Recently, a group of masked persons forcefully entered a village church in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab. They vandalised a Pieta statue. In addition, they set a car parked in the church premises on fire.
According to Police sources, a group of four masked people deliberately tried to enter into the three-storied church in Thakarpur village of Patti assembly constituency of Tarn Taran district around 12.30 AM. They also forcefully held the security guard at gunpoint. Further, they allegedly broke the statues of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ and took away their heads.
While explaining the incident, Father Thomas Poochalil, parish priest, Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Thakarpura village, associated with Jalandhar diocese said that the unidentified men were raising the slogan “We are Khalistanis”.
On the other hand, a few days ago a group of Nihangs and their supporters tried to disrupt an event organised by Christian missionaries at Daduana village in Amritsar district.
Condemning the church attack, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ordered an investigation and strict against the culprits. However, it’s also imperative to note that it’s not the first time under the Aam Aadmi government in Punjab that such a gruesome incident has taken place.

The worsening scenario under AAP
The Aam Aadmi Party-ruled border state is, in a way, looming under a sphere of crisis. From drug menace to the prevalence of Khalistanis, every incident is marking the incapability of Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP in handling the Punjab.
To put it simply, all of it is because of the criminal negligence of the Punjab government and its overt support for such activities for mere political benefit. But in all these cases, it is the voters of Punjab who are left at stake to paying a hefty price for Arvind Kejriwal’s fake promises.
The Aam Aadmi Party also tried to appease Hindus for political gains. But it was unable to maintain its fake enactment. Kejriwal, who once had spoken against Ram Mandir, decided to visit Ram Lala in Ayodhya and offer his prayers. But, when people of the UP found out that Kejriwal had banned crackers in Delhi and is Ram-bhakt only for his political opportunism, he then started to appease opposition parties which are believed to be anti-Hindu.

The dilapidated law and order in AAP’s Punjab
India has already suffered immensely at the hands of appeasement politics, which can also be seen under the AAP ruling in Punjab. As reported by TFI, the Kejriwal-led state government was being accused of gross incompetence as well as morally or otherwise supporting anarchic acts in Punjab. Cases like revenge killing, organised crimes, gang wars, and murders are becoming prevalent in the Bhagwant Mann regime.
Since the ruling of the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab, the state has experienced dilapidated situations. The singer and Congress politician Sidhu Moosewala was killed just a day after CM Mann’s controversial decision to withdraw the security of VIPs. The decision was to lure political brownie points in the name of ending VIP culture. Apart from that, in Ludhiana, a youth was shot inside his car. He was later found dead.
There have been several such cases in Punjab in recent days. But the dismal fate is not only for the citizens. The anarchic situation has endangered security officials as well. In one incident, the criminals had taken the life of a police officer.
Moreover, as reported by TFI earlier, a Rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was fired at the Intelligence Wing headquarters of Punjab Police in Mohali. The banned terrorist group Sikh for Justice (SFJ) took the responsibility for this attack.
Currently, Punjab can be said to witness a state of crisis. It can be evidenced by the incessant surge in killings, murders, and crimes while marking a steep downpour in Punjab’s economy. Even after all this, Arvind Kejriwal is not taking any action and is instead initiating a freebie culture. All in all, the Aam Aadmi Party supremo is nailing his coffin.
