Violence, Racism, and Divide and rule with oppression was the brutal reality that Indians experienced during the vicious British rule for centuries. The British divide and rule policies found their expression in the Aryan invasion theory and gave rise to the idea that Dravidian language speakers are the original inhabitants of India.
Bishop Robert Coldwell, a missionary and linguist, academically established the Davidian family of language. And here was where the detested ‘Dravidian Politics’ started to take shape. Wicked-minded Caldwell asserted that Tamil speakers were indigenous Dravidian and yet they have been continuously oppressed for centuries by Brahmanical Aryans, which added fuel to the fire.
Formation of Justice Party
In 1917, at the time when India was under colonial rule, the British and their tough stance on Indians were getting barbaric day by day. Amid those times of doom and gloom, Dravidian politicians were busy breaking India. They left no stone unturned to weaken the freedom struggle against the nasty British.
T.M. Nair and P. Theagaraya Chetty were the ones who led a foundation of this poisonous Dravidian political theory. Under the banner of the Dravidian Movement, the Justice party was founded in 1917, to advance evangelism in South India. They targeted the foundational pillar of Hindu society which is Brahmin. They labelled them as destructive alien intruders from a different race and ran anti-Hindu propaganda.
Aligning with Jinnah’s separatist demands, the same group of people called for Dravidasthan. On the name of Dravidian Movement Ramaswami Naicker, diversely known as Periyar, started to contaminate the minds of people down south, in the Madras presidency. He launched several rallies humiliating Hindu deities and wrote several articles demeaning Bhagwan Sri Ram.
In fact, he wrote his own version of Ramayan transposing hero and villain. In his narration the Sri Lankan King ‘Ravana’ became a heroic Dravidian of ‘excellent character’ and the prince of Ayodhya from north ‘Sri Ram’ a conniving, despicable character.
Periyar’s British slavery can be understood from the fact that on 15 August 1947, on the first Independence Day, he announced to mourn the day by hoisting a black flag. Even after freedom, he wanted the rule of the British in southern India.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)
After independence, the same movement became a strong political party called Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu. They made anti-Hindu and anti-Hindi their strongest tools to fight with and started peddling their political agendas. Deeply subscribed to evangelical theology, the Dravidian movement became a mainstream political party. And in span of hundred years, they have not remained less than a breaking- India Force. Leaders from this party have been seen taking ant-India stance, bashing the Hindi language for no reason.
Recently, on Hindi Diwas, M.K Stalin, ruling chief minister of Tamil Nadu from the very same DMK party, stated that “the country remains India and not Hindia.” He further added “It is India. Not Hindi. Indian languages including Tamil should be declared as official languages of the Union Government.”
Just like the vicious ideology of Jinnah lead Muslim league, bigoted Dravidian politicians did everything possible for the balkanisation of India. Sadly, the communist lead distortions and media houses wiped out all the sins of rabid anti-India separatist leaders like Dravidians politicians.
Akin to Muslim league, unscientific theories like Aryan-Dravidian hypothesis are tools to break India on the linguistic and regional basis. They regularly invent new fault lines and nurture the existing ones. Coupled with political think-tanks, Church activism and demagogue political parties, they want to break the existing Indian civilization. Internationally linked and church funded, these political parties are nothing less than an active instrument of balkanization of India.
