UP ATS nabs ‘Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist’ tasked with killing Nupur Sharma

UP ATS

A chemist named Umesh Kolhe was stabbed to death by Islamists. A Hindu tailor named Kanhaiya Lal was butchered by two Jihadis. An engineering student Nishank Rathore was found dead on a railway track. There are multiple such names who have been hacked to death by Islamists. Their crime? Well, they supported Nupur Sharma.

The Islamists are not only attacking those who have dared to raise their voice in favour of Nupur Sharma but have also been looking for an opportunity to execute the lady too. Mind you, all this for merely narrating a fact. However, the government, as well as the administration, are making sure that Islamists do not succeed in their vicious agendas. In such a move, UP ATS has nabbed a terrorist linked with Jaish-e-Mohammed who was tasked with killing Nupur Sharma.

UP ATS foils JeM’s vicious planning

On Friday, 12 August, Muhammad Nadeem was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (UP ATS). Nadeem is alleged to have a connection with Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehrikh-e-Taliban Pakistan. If the reports are to be believed, Jaish-e-Mohammed was tasked to kill suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad informed, “UP ATS received information from allied agencies that a person in Saharanpur, influenced by the ideology of the JeM and other terrorist organisations is preparing for an attack.”

It added, “After identifying him, we carried out an interrogation and recovered a mobile phone, while carrying out primary investigation.”

They also went on to explain, “The phone had a pdf document on it, which was called ‘Explosive Course Fidae Force.’ The phone also had chats and voice messages between Nadeem and the JeM and other terror outfits in Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

It is pertinent to note that he was trained to create virtual phone numbers from terror organisations. Reportedly, he was being trained by a Pakistani named Saifullah to launch a “Fidayeen” attack on government buildings or police forces.

He was connected to the terror groups through WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Club House, and other social media platforms.

The controversy around Nupur Sharma

Notably, Nupur just reiterated whatever was out there in the public domain. In a TV debate, Nupur had said, “Mohammed married a 6-year-old girl and had sex with her at the age of 9.” She had also stated that according to Quran, Earth is flat, which is totally non-scientific.

Nupur Sharma’s statement became so ‘intolerant’ that the poor Islamists all around the world were forced to go on a rampage against her. The naïve Islamists were left with no option but to threaten the ex-BJP leader with killing, gang rape, and many such derogatory threatening messages. Islamic countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Pakistan, also launched campaigns against her.

Since they couldn’t kill Nupur Sharma, they started attacking those who came out in support of her. In the most recent case, on 4th August, 23-year-old Pratik Pawar was viciously attacked by a Muslim mob in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district. The mob claimed that he had been putting social media posts in support of Nupur Sharma.

Well, it is yet to witness how many lives will be claimed over Nupur Sharma’s controversy. But, the recent actions by UP ATS to foil the vicious plans of the terrorist group can be seen as a ray of hope.
