Shahrukh Hussain becomes Abhishek, India Today shows its Hindu-hatred again

Indian media outlets have now been reduced to puke-inducing propaganda that have not an iota of ethics and morality left within. These media outlets and the professionals, dare to call themselves journalists and feel no shame in building specific narrative at the cost of reality. It not only damaged the truth but also curtailed the actual story, like what happened in the case of Jharkhand victim Ankita, but the culprit here is, India Today.

India Today turns Shahrukh into Abhishek

The last time India Today was in news, it was for their Hindu phobic review of Karthikeya 2. They pointed out that it had too much ‘Krishna’. Now, India Today has turned Shahrukh Hussain, the one who set ablaze Ankita Singh in Jharkhand’s Dumka as ‘Abhishek’.

Why has India Today taken this step? Is it understaffed, and so unable to verify the accused’s name? Well, looking at the history of India Today and its Hindu-phobia, it seems that the portal did so to hide the identity of the accused, as he belong to one particular community. The portal, India Today repeatedly mentioned the accused as ‘Abhishek’ and nowhere was it mentioned that it had changed the name for whatever reason might be.

Dumka girl succumbs to burn injuries

There is rage among the people of Jharkhand as a teen girl named Ankita passed away yesterday, succumbing to burn injuries inflicted by a man whose proposal she turned down.

The accused has been identified as Shahrukh Hussain. The Islamic psychopath poured petrol on the girl from outside the window of her room while she was asleep and set her on fire. Ankita was a student of class 12, who breathed her last at around 2:30 am on Sunday. While admitted, she was in critical condition with 90 per cent burns. The police have arrested Shahrukh Hussain for his heinous crime. While those who are aware of the situation are calling for his death sentence for his heinous crime, he was seen gleefully smiling and his chest swelled with pride.

The crime and the criminal

How should the case of Ankita Singh be seen? It is a case of a man attacking and killing a teenage girl for refusing his advances. There is one more angle to the story, the man whose proposal was refused by the ‘Hindu girl’ aimed at converting the girl to Islam and marrying her.

The crime here is not just gender-based, but also driven by the motive to convert the Hindu girl. As per media reports, Ankita’s father revealed, “Shahrukh used to tell her -marry me, accept Islam, else I will make your life hell.”

There have been many incidents where Hindu girls have to pay the cost of refusing a Muslim boy with their lives. Be it Nitika Tomar or Ankita Singh, many girls have been killed brutally by Muslim men for refusing their advances. There have been multiple incidences of the ones who get lured and marry, are later killed.

Until reports as such are published, these criminals will not be recognised. It’s high time that the girls should wake up and be aware of their allies. And to mention the least, India Today that decided to go ‘secular’ might cost many Hindu lives further.
