For years now, the opposition parties of India have engraved their corrupt tactics in the political structure of this democratic nation. Oppositions, including the congress and RJD among others, have tried to hinder the public interest for their political nepotism. Nevertheless, PM Modi is rigorously exposing the wrongdoings of these parties deeply ingrained in corruption.
PM Modi’s revelation of corruption and nepotism
In a similar revelation, during his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the two big challenges for the country including bhrashtachar” (corruption) and “parivarvad” (nepotism). It was an apparent indication towards the congress and some regional parties from the ramparts of the red fort.
Pointing at the increasing corruption in the country, PM Modi said, “Corruption is hollowing the country out like termites. I want to wage a decisive battle against it, speed up the drive (against the corrupt), and take it to a decisive juncture.” Additionally, urging public support, he said, “Bless me, my 130 crore compatriots, I need your support. I have come today to seek your support so that I can wage this battle.”
Time and again, the Indian political structure has seen the injustice caused to the country in the wake of dynasty politics. As said earlier by a senior BJP leader, it is the “root cause of corruption and misgovernance.” Thus, the Prime Minister urged the countrymen to speak up against the nepotism being spread in the country, spoiling the reputation of the world’s largest democracy.
PM Modi has always been against corrupt “Dynasty Politics”
This is not the first time that Dynasty politics has been highlighted as a threat. It has always tried to hamper Indian civilization. During the 42nd Foundation day of BJP, PM Modi observed the existence of two kinds of politics. He said, “One is the politics of family devotion and the other is committed to patriotism.”
He also mentioned the dynasty government members who work only in the interest of their families. “Such family parties have never allowed the youth of this country to progress.”
From the Gandhi family reserving the throne for themselves in past to the emergence of Thackerays’ in Maharashtra, the BJP is trying to curtail this age-old phenomenon. And the results are not too far to visualize.
And this time, again, with the world staring at India as a role- model country, PM Modi’s battle against corruption and nepotism can be seen reflected in his 9th Independence Day speech.
From congress to RJD, TMC to Communists among others existing for their own political gains, are all under the spectrum of scrutiny, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Continuous exposing of corrupt political leaders
Under the leadership of the world’s most popular leader, there has been a rigorous curtailment of corruption in governing a free and sovereign country. It became evident with the congress leaders getting under trouble in the National Herald case.
Dating back to 2012, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a complaint in a Delhi Court claiming that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have committed fraud and land grabbing of billions of rupees. It was done by acquiring a public limited company called Associated Journals Limited (AJL) through their own private company, Young Indian.
Further, both Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a probe related to the said case. Additionally, there were searches conducted at multiple locations related to the case.
Apart from this, Lalu Prasad Yadav, former chief minister of Bihar and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo, was announced a five-year jail term and a fine of Rs. 60 Lakh in relation to the fifth fodder scam case conducted by him. Additionally, Yadav was found guilty of illegal withdrawals of Rs 139.35 crore from the Doranda treasury by a special CBI court in Jharkhand’s Ranchi.

These are just a few cases of the opposition getting under the scrutiny of central agencies. There have been numerous other cases where various political leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge among others were summoned for their conduct of fraud and corrupt structures.
Believe it or not, it is now amply clear that none of the corrupt political tactics will be spared by the central agencies, at least till PM Modi is in power. Moreover, it became apparent in his Independence Day speech while warning the congress and RJD that they will be punished for their inclination toward corruption and nepotism.
