While India was already being targeted by Rana Ayyub, having aforementioned skills, another one who has recently risen to prominence is none other than alleged fact checker, Mohammad Zubair.
Mohammad Zubair: A Hinduphobic out on bail
Mohammad Zubair, who was arrested for offending the sentiments of the Hindu community and inciting hatred is out on bail. Zubair was charged with at least seven cases under different sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code). As soon as he was out on bail, Zubair did what he is good at; gaslighting people, and manipulating public opinion by spinning spurious narratives.

Mohammad Zubair continues his agenda through interviews
After coming out on bail, alleged fact checker Mohammad Zubair is busy propagating his nefarious agenda. And this time the platform chosen by him is not some fact-checking website like Alt News or his Twitter space. Rather, this time he has chosen the left-liberal media portals to further his ‘opinion’.
In his recent interview with Newslaundry, the interview begins with a soft touch, explaining that Zubair has many well-wishers, who are coming to see him. The interview subtly tells its viewers how innocent Zubair is and how the BJP regime is extremely brutal and busy with witch-hunting.

While Newslaundry just helped Zubair prove how innocent he was, The Wire went two steps ahead, however, on the expected lines. What is The Wire known for? Well, the left-liberal portal is known for turning every Muslim into a victim in a democratic country like India. And the same was visible in this case also.
The Wire published an article titled; Zubair: ‘A Muslim Man asking for accountability and working as a journalist is not a crime’. The Wire attempted to zero down the entire issue of Hinduphobia and illegitimate funding to just a Muslim being victim in India. Well, The Wire is a master of this art, and it seems that Zubair is learning the skill to play the victim from Rana Ayyub herself.

Rana Ayyub, a critic of the central government and Hindutva ideology, is always busy portraying the Muslims of India as hapless victims, who are perennially subjected to cruelty by the majority community with the silent support of the centre. The likes of Rana Ayyub and Mohammad Zubair are guilty of playing dangerous, communal and dirty games that are further widening the fault lines of division. All they do is spew venom against the Hindus explicitly and India implicitly, furthering the communal divide.
