Tamil Nadu’s speaker credits Christian missionaries for state’s growth

missionaries growth

A study released by the Centre for Policy Studies, a Chennai think-tank, in 2016, revealed that Tamil Nadu was the most favourable state in India for the growth of Christianity. With the rampant polarization, the dissemination of lethal Dravidian ideology and the unholy nexus of Dravidian parties and Evangelical societies, the numbers are swelling up to ungodly numbers. Believe me, Christian missionaries are the ones responsible for everything that is wrong with the state.

“Catholic missionaries are the reason for growth”

In what came as a controversial statement by Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M Appavu on Monday, he attributed the development of the state to Christian missionaries. According to M Appavu, the state would have become another Bihar if Catholic missions had not worked.

He also asserted that Catholic missionaries shaped his career and the government belonged to those who “fast and pray to God”.

Appavu stated that CM MK Stalin is aware that his government is created by catholic missions and they should speak to him for any kind of support. He believes that there couldn’t be any growth in Tamil Nadu without Christian missionaries, and Tamil Nadu would have become another Bihar.

His statement stirred controversy, amidst which the Speaker also claimed that he only mentioned “history”.

He, in response to the controversies, said that “Only Christian missionaries made education available for all. Christian missionaries brought social equality. The Dravidian movement is an extension of their work.”

Thank you M Appavu for recognising the truth

Dear, Mr Appavu. Hear me out. I would like to thank you for recognising the truth, although you’re late by a few years. The Aryan Dravidian theory is not based on facts and has nothing to support its claim. The majority of the world is still doing research to find out whether the theory is true or not.

It is simply because anything like Aryan Dravidian division never really existed. Now, with your statement that “The Dravidian movement is an extension of the work of Christian Missionaries,” you seem to have believed that the Dravidian movement is only an expansion of Christianity, and has no concrete base.

Secondly, thank you for acknowledging that Christian Missionaries are responsible for the growth. I mean, for growth, you need money and these missionaries are being directly funded by foreign countries that are running a vicious campaign against India.

Missionaries are actually responsible for growth in…..

Christian missionaries are accused by many of converting Hindus against their will or by offering bribes. It is indeed worrisome that while other faiths and most pertinently Christians have continued to grow in numbers, the Hindus, still the majority, have somehow shrunk in size in the southern portion of the state, that is, Kanyakumari.

Kanyakumari district has seen a rapid increase in the number of Christians and the population of Hindus, which constituted 90.47 per cent of the State’s population in 1951, has come down to 87.58 per cent by 2011.

It is all because of the existence of Dravidian ideology which has been fuelled by the Christian missionaries. The Dravidian ideology in its essence is a design manifested by the Church, to systematically destroy Hinduism.

The origins of this divide lie in the failure of the Christian Church to introduce Christianity in massive swaths as it imagined it should have in India, in the less than 250-300 years of Christian-British Rule.

It is interesting to note that the other Southern States of Andhra/Telangana, Karnataka & Kerala do not identify themselves as Dravidians as much as the state of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, as reported extensively by TFI, DMK has been infamous for its anti-Hindu and anti-Brahmin bigotry in the garb of Dravidian ideology. This anti-Hindu stance is amply clear from the statements of late DMK President M. Karunanidhi who said, “Lord Rama is a drunkard.”

You see, it is a vicious cycle to attack not only Hindus but India as well, and the Christian missionaries are playing a crucial role in running this propaganda.
