Since Suresh Oberoi, an actor, is the brother of Akshay’s father, Krishan Oberoi, Vivek Oberoi is Akshay’s first cousin.
Oberoi wed Jyothi Vynatheya, a strategy consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, on March 24, 2011. Jyothi and Akshay first connected at Newark Academy. Avyaan, their son, was born in April 2017.
On January 1, 1985, Akshay Oberoi was born in Morristown, New Jersey, in the United States. He completed his middle and high school education at Newark Academy before enrolling at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore to earn a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and economics.
