Devi and Danny Vyas in Saraswatichandra, Shaurya in Na Aana Is Des Laado, Kabir in Humse Hai Life, Mahish/Mahishasura in Maharakshak.
He costarred with Helly Shah in the 2015–2016 film Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur as Sanskaar Maheshwari, for which he won the Golden Petal Award for Best Actor Male.
In Savitri Devi College & Hospital on Colors TV from 2017 to 2018, Kapoor portrayed Dr. Veer Malhotra opposite Swarda Thigale.
In the 2022 movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kapoor made his Bollywood debut as Ramnik Laal.

Kapoor, a Gujarati, was raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he was born. He attended St. Kabir School in Vadodara for his education and Sinhgad College of Engineering in Pune for his Electronic Engineering degree. He moved to Bloomington to pursue higher education.
In front of his family and friends, Varun wed his longtime girlfriend Dhanya on January 24, 2013. He dislikes talking about his private life in the media.
Varun is an actor, and Dhanya works for Air India, therefore they don’t have a lot of free time due to their hard employment. They only get to spend time together for about 15 days a month. “Dhanya is constantly flying while I am on shoots. When we were married, we were aware that this would happen. We have the perfect amount of room and separation, though, and we are looking forward to spending more time together. We attempt to schedule our time correctly.”
