Maharashtra’s political crisis is worsening day by day. While Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray have emerged as the most incompetent politicians, Union Minister Eknath Shinde has proven his power. The power tussle, however, broke out between the two factions over the cause of Hindutva. Uddhav led faction had ditched Hindutva and Eknath Shinde faction wanted them to go back to the root ideology of Shiv Sena.
Amidst the chaos, the demonic side of a prominent leader of Shiv Sena is revealed. His statements and actions are making it evident Sanjay Raut is no lesser than an anarchist who should be behind bars.
The many vicious remarks of Sanjay Raut
Sanjay Raut is aware that the MVA alliance is not going to remain in power for a long time now. Uddhav faction’s numerous efforts to persuade the Shinde faction have failed and this is what has left Raut jittery. Uddhav Thackeray too appealed to the rebel MLAs to return. Since the efforts have failed, Uddhav’s faction has now resorted to threatening the MLAs of the Shinde camp.
Sanjay Raut, too, in an aggressive manner, threatened that Shiv Sainiks would take to the streets against Eknath Shinde camp. His vicious remarks against the opposition and Eknath Shinde camp are catching the limelight of the media.
Not once, not twice but multiple times, Raut has made controversial remarks that depicts his anarchist behaviour.
“Shiv Sena rebels living corpses”, says Sanjay Raut
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut hits out at the rebel party MLAs camping at a Guwahati hotel once again. On Sunday, he called them living corpses who would be sent to a mortuary for post-mortem after their return to Maharashtra.
His statements received flak from the Opposition and the rebel Shivsainiks who are terming it a death threat.
Raut, on Sunday, said, “When they step out of Assam, they won’t be alive at heart. They know what can happen in the fire which has been lit here now. The dead bodies of all these 40 MLAs will come to Mumbai (from Guwahati), we will directly send them to the mortuary for post-mortem.”
The Sena MP did not stop here and went on to call the rebels buffaloes saying, “There is a temple in Guwahati where buffaloes are sacrificed. These 40 buffaloes have gone there to be sacrificed.”
Shinde Camp objects to Raut’s statements
Deepak Kesarkar, the spokesperson for the Shinde Camp has slammed Raut’s choice of words and the statement that the MLAs have many fathers, saying that “there is too much outrage in the rebels”.
“He is insulting women in our families and it won’t be tolerated. He is saying anything he wants and damaging the party. No party should have a spokesperson like Sanjay Raut. He is on a mission to finish the party. It is because of his statements that all the MLAs are angry and more are joining us,” Kesarkar said.

“He has called us corpses. He should remember that it was on our votes that he became an MP earlier this month. He has also called us animals. If we are animals and corpses then he should have some self-esteem and resign as MP. He should contest the polls afresh. He needs votes of only 41 MLAs, let’s see from where he gets it. It’s said that a Rajya Sabha member is speaking like this. He is the chief spokesperson of Shiv Sena. We are very much part of the Sena. On what basis are we being targeted by the Sena? We are challenging the decisions to disqualify our members and leader Eknath Shinde,” he added.
Raut’s useless aggression
It is not the first time that Raut has made such controversial remark. He had shown tantrums while making earlier statements too. While interacting with the media, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, “Eknath Shinde faction that’s challenging us must realise that Shiv Sena workers are yet to come on the roads. Such battles are fought either through law or on the roads. If need be then our workers would come on the roads.”

He further added, “Process underway to disqualify 12 MLAs (of Eknath Shinde faction), their numbers are only on the papers. Shiv Sena is a big ocean such waves come and go.”
You see, Raut has been threatening the MLAs since the last few days. The choice of language and the words used has left the opposition and the Shinde camp fuming. Moreover, these statements are the proof that he belongs to only one place, that is, jail.
